I love this one, because of its simplistic style it looks like it'll have to rely on talent, which i prefer any day. Instead of trying to beat any records or trying something new, they took a basic design and hopefully made it more exciting. I love the unique turn around where the track crosses over and under, and the S-turn Hill, and the mini Nitro hill http://coasterbuzz.com/rollercoasterphoto.htm?i=1039 This is should be a highly rated coaster in my opinion
yes i am suggesting it will go faster cause english canadian persone know wut they are dowing and the french people (quebec) dont know wut they are dowing at all
Whether or not an English Canadian or a French Canadian made it dosnt matter, what would matter is if Germans built it, they are the best engineers on Earth. Anywho, theres nothing wrong with the french, there are lazy english Canadians, lazy americans, lazy Mexicans, lazy Mongolians, every country has lazy people (except Japan)
Mindbender was built rather quickly, and it is an indoor roller coaster thats 145 feet tall and over 3000 feet long, and the ride also twists and turns around the UFO maze, the Turbo Ride Theatre, and the pathway leading to the Turbo Ride Theatre, it twists around its own support beams, its own track, hell I dont know how Anton made that thing, or how the UFO maze and Turbo Ride Theatre was made either....
Goliath looks like it has a nice layout, I would like to go over to Eastern Canada to ride it, but all we have over here is the Mindbender...
After having a slight pause in construction on Goliath at La Ronde, workers are starting to pick up the pace once again. The second hill is now nearly complete and work on the station has been started.
finally its starting to go a little bit faster now so it will be nice to see some picture in a couple of weeks wut they have done so fare but its nice wut they have right now
Look towards the end. Its right before the last or second to last hill. It makes a mini semiquick diveturn to the left. Its not exactly the same and its a fraction of the height thats why i said it was Nitro-like. Maybe the video displayed it wrong, but it reminded me of Nitro.
http://laronde.com/en/maneges/FTechManege.asp?Manege=51 ^Click the link and find "Video : Goliath Animation" on the right hand side. It is a bit of a crude video, but it gives a good idea of the shaping of the what looks like very decent airtime hills.
I just talked wiht my grand parents in Vermont, and there may be a chance I get to go to La Ronde just to ride Goliath, as I have a season pass. I can't wait if tha becomes true. Im really liking the look of this coaster. Airtme[:D]
The far turnaround on Goliath at La Ronde is now finished. The hill after the turnaround has also been completed. The news however is not all good. A trim brake can clearly be seen on the hill after the turnaround.
