Like the topic title already says it. What is your history on wws or cc?

Let me kick off:

It started out all back in 05/07/2003 (mm-dd-yyyy), i was looking for a 2nd track exchange next to cs.com (since i got banned in there[lol]) and found coastercrazy.com. I registred under the name, goliath77: http://www.coastercrazy.com/forum/pop_pro ... ay&id=1828
I uploaded stuff like tracks. Sometimes stolen because i really thought you all foo's were retarded and shouldn't notice that it was stolen. [lol] You all noticed and i probably got another chance so i took limit. Gave the name eraser and uploaded that too [lol] Got banned under that. But i didn't gave up. A few days later i came back and registred a 2nd account: Goliath100
http://www.coastercrazy.com/forum/pop_pro ... ay&id=2065
I started out slowly, but later i did the same as on the other account. Started to post tons of messages since i had fun in here! Then i thought out. Why not rate my own tracks?!? So i logged off and registred a 3rd account under the name: coasterfreak2003 [lol]
http://www.coastercrazy.com/forum/pop_pro ... ay&id=2864
But i was too foolish this time. I rated a few rides too quickly and it was too noticable that i was only rating my own tracks [lol]. Meanwhile cs.com gave away those reinstatements. so banned people could get back. So now i was member on 2 forums. After that staff like edge, wws and GFA noticed and contacted me. I tried to talk out with poop like: it's my neighbour that goes online here! [lol] Nothing worked so i got banned in here, this time IP Banned! [lol]
the upcoming weeks and months were annoying. I always automatically typed in coastercrazy.com and then everytime i saw: "Your not wanted in here. LEAVE!" [lol]
After probably a year i e-mailed back to GFA some excuses and the whole story. That probably got passed through all the other staff members. And the let me back in (w00t!). But i forgot all those passwords on those accounts so i made a new account: Dirk_Ermen [:D]
After that, nothing really interesting happend anymore except a few anrgy people that where just haunted away by all members here on wws! [lol]

Ok, since you know now my black history on wws. Now go and post yours! [lol]

Found wws while searching for roller coaster tycoon 2 tracks and a 3D simulator. From there I got NL and joined CS.com. I only downloaded tracks off of WWS and CS.com then I got banned, and so after I gave up on cs.com I went back to WWS more than I did before, and so then i discovered how the forums worked, and then I slowly became where I'm at today.
It all started back in March 2003, for me I believe.

Hmmm, well, for a complete forums history, it started at TPR, but I got banned a month after I joined for spamming, poor grammar, etc. Then, a few days later, I found coasterfuel, and almost got banned on more than one occasion, but luckily I wasn't. Then, about a month later, I discovered thrillnework and wws, my main motives for joining were wws and tn's HUGE NL archive. Then I discovered the forums, and that's how I became this pain in the butt I am today.[:p] (I joined rcttown, canobiefan, and coaster cravers afterwards, and I'll probably join wnycoasters in a while)

Ive actually only been here about 6 months, despite my post count. I was searching for rct3 downloads when I found this. I started out as builing rct3 tracks like crazy and rarely posting. My first post was even a Trip Report. I started getting involved in the forums alot, and when I got No Limits 4 months ago I started getting into that section of the forums, and have rarely uploaded an rct3 ride since. Not much interesting has hapenned to me, except that I got hacked!

Thanks to Woodie Man and Jimmy Yoshi I was able to learn Nl, without them I would have all flat rides[lol]!

I thought we all found this place looking for porn....?

lol, I found it because I got the NL Demo in a a "100 greatest games" 5$ CD at walmart...Pretty random place but the NL demo is on there, so I pursued it and downloaded it and searched for exchange sites.

I came to WWS from the old Ultimate Ride Coaster exchange where WeeWeeSlap was one of the members. I saw a thread there about the site and decided to join. I registered under the username princess_g and I've had it ever since. That was back in 2003. I posted a few of my tracks here and I liked the site alot. I didn't post for a while here though (laziness being one of the reasons, not to mention listening to crap that's not even worth mentioning from people who are not worth mentioning). Anyway, I started listening to myself and following my own feelings and I realized that I really enjoyed it here and the rest is pretty much history. I like the site as well as the people here, plus it's fun. It's a great place to be on the net.[:)]

I got linked here from C2k about 6 months ago after first getting no limits and realized i liked it here better. About a week later, i got banned because i was talking crap to wws in the forums. Didnt really go over well. Now im a nice, respecting member who knows not to mess with Slap.

I started out as coasterbuzz36763. Then I am EElover2 because I was furious. Besides, Weeweeslap, what did I get banned for as EElover2?

Stealing tracks! I can't believe you even tried stealing Ganja, a well known ride.

I think I saw that WWS had a website on CS (when he was still there) and at the time it was moreless a personal website. One day I checked it and he added a forums so I figured I'd sign up. And boy has the site changed since then.

I was a member of Coastersims.com way back in Fall 2002, when WWS held the award as the coaster designer with the most weekly medals. The first person to rate one of my coasters was Hansixx, and we both earned our first medals in the same week (me with "Tempest 2", he with "Micro"). I was a hell child on that site, whining about every single rating, downrating other tracks, anything to win a medal. Then, like the idiot I was then, I signed up a second account and got banned. For the next 3 months, I grieved at the loss, and made 3 attempts to get back on the site. No good.

In February 2003, Hansixx told me about WWS.com, and I joined up. I competed in the Placebo Effect Contest, and released my 3 original tracks "Tempest 2", "Stunt Plane", and "Oasis". Oasis won only the second gold medal on wws.com. Then, my infamous flood of hype began. I owned about 20% of the topics in the "track advertising" forum over the next few weeks, constantly advertising my upcoming projects. Most of them were incredibly big and flashy coasters that could bring in the high marks despite their numerous imperfections. In the first three months alone, I posted TEN coasters with 2 golds, a silver, and 2 bronzes to show for them. After the complete failure of "The Rockler", a 300+ ft terrained woodie that I had been hyping up to an insane degree for over a month, I finally grew up and started to try and lose my reputation as the designer that did the best job of hyping up coasters only to have them fall flat. Still, I was pumped full of a wild competitive spirit, and I began keeping a tally on how many medals I had won compared to everyone else. That was all I cared about at the time... proving how great I was.

At the end of the summer, I began working on a new breed of coasters. I did a lot of studying, trying to learn how to make my coasters smoother, and the results were very good. I was finally getting my head out of the clouds, and into the building arena. I now regularly kept track of the official medal count, and pretty much everyone knew me. But then, my senior year of high school combined with my summer job at Cedar Point pretty much held me idle for the next 10 months. I did make an appearance in the 2004 match-up contest, but that was all aside from 2 smaller projects that flopped.

This was the turning point in my coaster-building career. While I was away working, I took a trip over to Holiday World, and I will never look at coasters the same way again! I now knew that the key to having great adrenaline on a coaster was to give it a big finish, rather than fading into mediocrity like I had grown accustomed to. Also, I was inspired to begin work on my "Adrenaline Land" project, which was aimed at making a giant park like Cedar Point have the charm and class of Holiday World. Upon my return to the coaster-building circuit, I finished my 1.5 year long work on "Ultimate Nightmare", and then got a coaster-building lesson from Hansixx and Real. Finally, I had the secret to building smooth and pumpless tracks. Then, I looked at a few pictures of upcoming Gerstlauer coasters, and was inspired to begin on my master work, "Cataclysm". Armed with a new understanding of smoothness and adrenaline, I worked feverously over the next month and produced one of the most acclaimed coasters of all time. I finished up my coaster-oriented work in my first year of college with the backbones of 5 coasters from the Adrenaline Land project, and a launched terrained shuttle called "Volare".

2 months later, I became a wws.com moderator. With GFA missing in action, I went on to become the site's contest runner. The rest is history. I'm now finally making top-calliper coasters, and I've been running the site's contests and doing mod stuff ever since.

I was a really a big n00b at NL. I had had the program for over 2 months, never getting anywhere. I found a few places online that had tracks, but I wanted something better. So I took a look on the list of coaster exchanges on the NL site. My first stop was CS, but I just didn't choose to join that site. All of the coaster related menu topics were too confusing. I clicked the back arrow on my browser and looked at the list again. WWS caught my eye because of the strange name. I joined in June because I really wanted to download Bobcoaster's Lakeside Cyclone, one of the few coasters on the site I'd actually ridden. I went in and out of coasters and then made my first post over a year after I joined. It was a n00b post asking if someone would help me make a coaster.

I'm still not the most confident in my coasters despite winning one silver medal. Supports, not track designing have really become my big thing at this point. Well, that's about it.

One simple word I guess: Google. :P Best place for SM coasters I found out. I also found the link later on in the wounded-heart links page.

I got to know wws.com from dirkie, little more than one year ago, since i was banned for a totaly strange reason and cs.com didn't reply any of my mails, i signed up here.

The first several posts i made where merely a bit of reaction to something above what was already been said adding nothing to the topic itself and so on.

With my first posts also came my first ratings on tracks and there where really crap but practise makes perfect as you see how far i've gotten know. My first track here, i believe it is Blender, and compare it to Trilithium, the biggest project ever of me, is quite the difference, in one year, i know i'm not building perfect coasters, far from perfect, but if it keeps continuing at this rate...

Anyway back to topic, with my numerous posts without very much content, i became little of a spammer, and altough i spam less than in the beginning (but still do!) i am called a spammer many times.

Then, a few months after i joined, Tcon and i were getting on each others nerves, Tcon on my because he took most of my posts way too seriously, and me on Tcon because he always used his <severe eye roll> as a way out. Thank the maker that's over now, however there are still some instances, but i now can laugh about them.

Then came the era of the coaster quizzes, which i really enjoyed making, and now having 3 satelite quizzes done and a drop quiz, you expect certainly a lot more weird quizz subjects.

And then we've ended up in the present, still posting somewhat political incorrect posts and stuff, but hey, what would wws.com be without hyyyper?

a bit less chaotic i think

First I found Weeweeslap on the links page of the Nolimitscoaster website.

Signed up with the name Matt and was happy for a few years, mixed with the wrong people [lol]

*points to Dirk*

and then got banned for kinda exploiting the chat room. You do have to admit that was a fun and exciting day Dirk, probably the best.

Plus i was pissing people off by saying cs.com was better all the time. Wws and his staff crew basically all wanted me dead. Then Mr Cool Fornication and Tconwell helped me back on. [:p]

That's it.

Simple history for me: I was hating life at another site, so I went looking for a new site to hang out and found this one! Now, here is the definition of Irony: I now own the "other" site. [lol]
Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all.

Not dead, just hung from a high place by your balls [lol]

My history started out a long time ago about a month after No Limits was first released. I was a member on coastergames.net and coastersims.com and i always prefered coastergames.net for the layed back atmosphere. After coastergames.net shut down for a while i became more active on wws.com taking notice of most members and building a slight reputation for huge support structures. I saw WWS advertising his new site on the forums one day but i never signed up intialy. After a month or so i did decide to join but really there was nothing to the site so i really was quite inactive there. Then one day out of the blue WWS asked me on msn if i would better test the new CoasterCrazy.Com site, to whiched i agreed and 2 or 3 days later i was made a mod. Everything just grew from there really
