2006 NoLimits Tournament


Welcome to the 4th annual coastercrazy.com/CoasterCrazy.com Match-up Contest! This contest will be a 2-month long tournament, which will narrow the field down over 4 intense rounds of coaster-building until one champion remains.


Contest Overview:

-Qualifying Round: Any number of people may register. Once the 2 week build period is over, the top sixteen tracks will be selected to move on to Round 2.
-Round Two: The 16 qualifyers from Round 1 will be paired with another designer, and the two of them will face each other in an 11 day head-to-head buildoff. The best track from each pair will move on to Round 3.
-Round Three: The 8 winners from Round 2 will again be paired off, and face off in a head-to-head battle. The best track from each group will move on to the finals.
-Finals: The four winners from Round 3 will face off in an all-out coaster building slugfest. The best of the four tracks will be declared the grand champion.
-Each round will have a new template, and a new set of rules.
-The qualifying round will last 2 weeks, with a week-long judging period afterward.
-Each successive round (2-4) will last 11 days, with a 3-day judging period at the end.


Prizes:

1st: PLATINUM MEDAL, 10,000 points, $50 cash prize
2nd: Silver Contest Medal, 5000 points
3rd: Bronze Contest Medal, 2500 points
4th: Honorable Mention, 1000 points
5th-8th: 500 points
9th-16th: 100 points


REGISTRATION:

If you would like to register for this tournament, reply to the topic and clearly state your intent to join. Remember, this is a very intensive contest, so do not sign up unless you are truly committed.

Registration will close on Saturday, February 25 at 11:59:59 EST, and the contest's first round will begin on Sunday, February 26.

There is no limit on the number of people that may join this contest.

Im getting closer and closer to exams, coursework needs t be done, but has that stopped me before? Im in, i will try get a few tracks together, but cant promise anything that great. I just want to redeem myself after being put up against Tyler in the semi final last year!
