Your texture looks nice. Maybe size it a little smaller, but other than that its perfect. The roof looks good too. Keep it up!

A quick update. Progress has been pretty slow on this project, but now that I have a few days to just relax and do nothing except play like a kid on the computer and watch the Olympics while my mouth heals I thought I would do a little more work on this.

The station is about 98% finished. I just need to fiddle with the texture on a few faces and then I think I can finally start on the supports.

I also uploaded two new screenshots;

I can't wait until I finish this, such a pain in the butt [lol]

fn,just out of curiosity where did the name come from?

Pdonahue suggested the name. I liked the name so I took it [^]

http://nldc.interfix.net/i10869 - Tiny update, I have finally started the supports. And as you can see in the screenshot, I am testing out some connectors to see if the added realism is worth the effort.

[edit]http://nldc.interfix.net/i10883 made some slight changes to the connector, footer size needs to be adjusted as well

Who did you hear that from? [lol] There is a bit of floater airtime at the very top, so I guess there is.

I made another slight change to the connector, I removed the round thing;

So, if anyone who reads this and wants to comment, which one do you like better?

Me either lol, I was just trying out different methods to see which one looks the best. I've seen Buster and a few other people use that horizontal joint looking thing so I thought I should at least see how it looks.
But with the 3ds connector it just looks odd, I wish the ends of support tubes could mesh together better, it would make it look so much more realistic.

With some patience, you can.

First support in foreground is the best. the one behind it needs to be raised up one notch on my machine.

Want to look at the file and see how easy it is?

You make the up support. Then, with the top node selected, put one just below it. Connect your angle support before moving this node for ease of use.

Using Page Up, inch the bottom one up till its about half way "connected" with the top node - sort of like they are becoming one. Then, go in and out of the sim a few times moving it up or down till it connects correctly.

Even if its off a little bit like the majority of mine were it still looks alot nicer than most.

I'm happy to say that I've started working ont his track again. The supports are now done from the tilted loop to the final brake run.

Looking good Canadmos. I've rode this track before and can say it's really realistic and has a excellent pace. I wont give too much away but it has some sweet elements in there.
Those 3d connectors are going to take you a good time to complete and with you saying you don't have patience I can't see you finishing them [;)]. I'm sure you will though.

Keep up the good work.

>>I never understood that horizontal part anyways.

You really don't know?, because when you look at it logically it's really obvious how he does his supports [;)]

Those connectors are actually pretty easy to put into the track as they only have to be rotated twice and don't have to line up perfectly, unlike B&M connectors.
