I'm still learning the ins and outs of No Limits and I was wondering how to make the ramps and line queue. Also how is it possible to put your own roof on the station. I can't figure out how to make floor boards for the line. If anyone can help me out, it would be great. thanx.Insert

Ya it definetely is possilbe, of course its very tedious, look at some of trackwalker's coasters, his rides are phenominal, look at the custom stations, its a lot of work, sometimes not worth it if your track is of low quality.

Timber Express by bockzilla had line's made by wood supports and something else for the floor boards. but all of this was made in no limits and not with another program. I think it had something to do with the suto supports and catwalks or something. Ive been trying to figure out ho.w to use the autosupports to put in catwalks but i cant figure it out

here are some options:

1. make lot's of flat beams and arrange them

2. move and edit the catwalks so that you can make large sheets

3. get a 3ds-modeler like the object creator

I reccomend using 3ds... I have made queue lines out of both 3ds and regular supports, and making them out of 3ds uses up MUCH less FPS in the simulator.

The something else is catwalk. Here is what I do and how it is done.

If you have completed your coaster and supports do the following: (if you only have 1 segment then you do not need to do steps 1 through 4)
1) From the edit menu choose Edit/Select All (Everything should turn white/highlighted)
2) From the support menu choose Auto Supports. In the Global section uncheck all of the Global Segment Setting flags. Also make sure the Clear Previous Structure flag is unchecked too or you will loose all of your hard work on the track structure.
3) Switch to the Segment tab and check only the individual setting. Make sure the rest are not checked.
4) Now change the station segment to normal track.
5) Choose only this segment of track (white highlighted)
5) From the support menu choose Auto Supports. Switch to the individual tab and check what you want to generate. Catwalk only for roof structure/signs or catwalk and handrails for line queues
6) Switch back to the global tab and check generate final and click OK.

You should now have a bunch of catwalk and/or catwalk and handrails to use to make roofs/signs/line queue ect.

To use the catwalk to make a roof you need to break up the catwalk into individual segments. See example below

x-----x-----x-----x-----x-----x
x-----x-----x-----x-----x-----x

x-----x-----X-----x-----x-----x
x-----x-----X-----x-----x-----x
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ^--delete these two nodes

x-----x???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????x-----x-----x
x-----x???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????x-----x-----x
?????????????????????????????????????????????^--you now have a single piece of catwalk to use as one side of a roof. You just need to move each node to the correct place.

Repeat this until you have the roof complete.

The process is very similar to create line queues. The only difference is that you need to create the other side of the handrails since the auto support only created hand rails on the left or right side.

If you need more help just PM me with your emaill address and I will create a word doc showing you with print screens of how I do it.
If you are going to make a scene, be seen.

Once you get good at making custom supports, make buildings with it, and path ways, it takes time, but as previously said, take a look at trackwalker's coasters, most of them have buildings or pathways of sort, all done by suport, it takes a while, but it is worth it.
