Giovanalli's (or however you spell it)hyper coasters are just a dissappoint. They knock your socks off the first time if you've never been on anything like it, but then you just slowly start to dislike it more and more. (GP think so also)

I think they're better than any morgan or arrow hyper thats available. I needed to pick a hyper type coaster, so I decided to go with this one.

Airtime fans will certainly disagree here as the Giovanolas only feature one camelback. Also, I'm sure everybody who's ridden both rides will say The Phantom's Revenge is a hell lot better than Titan/Goliath.

I'm so glad I'm getting away with this, because I first wanted to pick it last round before dcs already so it would've sucked a lot to lose it:

I'll pick the other Revenge of the Mummy (Universal Studios Hollywood): http://www.rcdb.com/id2464.htm

I guess I don't have to write anything about it anymore [lol]:

I'll take Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios, Florida. ROTM is an 40 million dollar, intricately themed darkride/Premier rollercoaster; featuring launches, airtime, special effects like pyrtechnics, 3d bugs, and lots of animatronics, along with other surprises, making it an awesomely thrilling ride, suitable for families but satisfying to thrill seekers like most of us. Here are some comments from people who have ridden...

(RCGenius)-"The theming for it's one of the best themes that I've ever seen on a coaster, & the ride had a great story to it too. Now for the ride. I rode it in the back seat, & the ride experience was something else. Revenge of the Mummy had some great airtime on some of the drops & the scenery around it was truly awe-inspiring."

(Fireside)-"In all seriousness this ride is an action packed ride with some nice airtime and great visual effects. The queue line and fire effects help make this ride shine. It has a well themed slow portion a couple of nice effects a high-speed backward coaster segments and two high-speed normal coaster segments."

(Animan1)-"It is certainly a all-encompassing sensory masterpiece though, and the most thrilling ride at Universal Studios."

Dammit I was gonna do that! Arg!

Oh well I'll take the most poorly designed wicked ass dangerous air filled first drop on earth, Big Boom Coaster.

That steep a drop (70 degrees), should NOT have that long a train!

If you watch the onride vid at themeparkreview.com, you'll see that Big Boom Coaster is WAYYYY more insane than it looks. It's a short and uninspired layout, but it's smooth, and has some crazy ejector airtime.

The Hollywood version of Revenge of the Mummy isn't supposed to be nearly as good as the Orlando version, which is why I chose the one I did, so not all of those comments apply to it. Hollywood's version apparently had a smaller building to make the ride in, so I've heard the layout is pretty different, and some of the effects aren't as, um...effective. lol Despite that, I've heard that the Hollywood RotM is still supposed to be a lot of fun, and a good ride.

It's WAY too slow though lol. I didn't think it could possibly pull as many G's as it actually does or go quite as fast as it does.

Glad you're prepared for arguments Jimths, because that's unfair to grant him his pick after the deadline and not grant anyone else their pick. Everyone has an entire day for their pick, no more. It's nobody's fault other than his that he missed his turn, and he should be penalized for that just like I would if I missed my turn, or anyone else that has or will miss their turn.

Well it seems to be good enough to serve as a better picture representation for your pick [lol]:

This stunning coaster IS ROTM hollywood - not orlando![worship]

EDIT: I did actually think they were clones before picking. But I do know now the Orlando version is known to be slightly better. Still the Hollywood one does not only look like a good, but a GREAT ride off these pictures. [;)]

oops haha, my mistake on the pictures.

But yeah like you said, the Orlando one is supposed to be better, however that takes nothing away from how awesome the Hollywood version seems to be.

I'll take the amazing Space Mountain: Mission 2 of Dineyland Paris. It features an uphill launch start, typical space mountain darkness and theming, and an amazing layout that even includes 3 inversions, all of which are in complete darkness (In fact it's actually hard to tell when you're upside down and when you're not).

other words, was eman on time?
