My ride is 76.25 meters tall and is 2290.51 meters long and has about 15 points of airtime and has over 20 cross-overs and supports 3 trains of 7 without stacking.

Imperial: 250 feet tall (EXACTLY 250 feet)

7524.16 feet long (OMFG)

^Yes, I know, only seven..... But to be honest I am surprised I was able to finish the trackwork this fast, there are some minor twitches I am working on but its pretty much done for the track. Usually when I build for a contest I throw together a few layouts that are quick and vekoma like for quality just to get ready to tackle the contest, but this is only my second go at it. The hand made and smoothed parts are good as they get, and the AHG parts did not have any of the AHG pumps or flaws, the g's are in check, its exciting, very twisty, and has a lot of airtime. All done in 13 hours of trackwork... My new record for this quality.

Cleary mine shall be the best in all those catagories![^]

The only thing I don't like about this template is that the ending for all of the people's tracks will be the same so basically its that middle part where you have to set your self apart from the others, but with all that limited ammount of space, that could be difficult to do.

Hmm...I dont follow you? I never get "AHG pumps" out of a track that doesnt have pumps. My only assumption is that you probably use too few verticies and thus it creates pumps?

I try to use incredibly low vertex counts when my track is as close to perfect as possible because I tend to design exactly what I want first time. The AHG only heartlines but I use insane vertex spacing to keep my original trackwork. Sometimes as low at near 3ft per segment but average of 4.5ft - 5ft per segment. If you AHG and have anything over 10ft but have small lead ins youll get pumps.

Yeah, the AHG only enhances a ride, so it makes it worse or better, its all about the input, bad input=bad output good input=good output

Well, you said "Ahg pumps" which makes it sound like the AHG created the pumps. Which it can, but only when you specify a smaller number of verticies needed to create certain areas which, if they are complex, needs a higher resolution of verticies.

I use a low number of vertecies. It seems to make my tracks smoother. Im pretty happy with the result that came out. I use 2 trains with 8 rows, and I can run 9 rows if I want. Im going to go try 3 with 8, but if that fails im going to have to use 2 with 9. Who knows, the 9 car train may give a more graceful Beemer feel.

There were AHG pumps in the coaster initially, when I first heartlined it, but they dissapeared because I went into the editor and tweaked the offending segments by hand.

For an inexperienced AHG user, like him or me, it creates either pumps or lead-ins that are too small, so we set the number of verticies much lower so that the lead-ins are the proper size. Often, this makes for some minor pumping that was not in the original coaster. The only difference is that I know how to get rid of it once it's there.

I get that same problem cjd. I just cant fix it that well.

BTW it seems like some of you guys have too much time on your hands. Im really jealous, as im hardly gonna get any time on this. But i leave school in like 8 weeks [:D] YES!!!!!!!!! And then study leave, and exams, and then like 3 months off to create all the tracks i want. But before i get to that stage i have to do 31 GCSE exams in a few weeks, and a couple of AS ones aswell (rolls eyes)! Anyway.............. [:P] Yeah cos i dont have much time i still only have the first drop and airtime hill.

^Er I am not an inexperienced AHG user... I know how to smooth it out, it was on the first try I got no pumps or any kind of negative quality and it didnt need to be fixed, that is what was surprising, usually I have to change a verticy or something but I didnt.
