ish - I cant see how those hills produce airtime for anything more than a moment with how straight they enter and exit. But if they do, you found something
It's called print screen, and no, you do not need a printer. Just open your favorite paint program and press Cntrl+v, or right click and paste. Then tear it apart, do whatever you like to it.
As for the scenery passing, track exchange, and what other garbage, I have to strongly disagree with this. Scenery is counted in our score this time, so it is highly unfair to get scenery objects from other people. Then testing, since when was testing allowed in a competition?? I know it most likely happens behind all of our backs, but to post it here in the contest forums and then agree with it, what are you thinking?
Some of us don't care if we show things, because its all for fun. Im not all about beating some ones track, although thats always nice. And I believe the "all tracks are fair game until uploaded" is totally fair. Other people do what they want to do. Its not like slavery is going on. People make their own decisions :p
If you wanna show off your coasters, go ahead, but I really dont think you are allowed to have testers, its a competition and the tracks should be made by you and have only your opinion to aid in the production, otherwise we would all have the same tracks.
That's not how it works in the real world. In engineering, you almost always have the option of letting your target audience test it, and therefore not allowing testing in this contest would not be appropriate. Even if someone says that things are wrong with the coaster, it is still completely up to the individual designers to use their skills to solve the problems.
The testing thing isn't so much a big deal, but having somebody making 3D's for you is like having somebody make the track for you. We are scored on track AND 3D's. This is a contest, the SINGLE best designer should come out on top. If you guys want to do a collab project, create a contest for that.
