Introducing the Fun Card, exclusively for Virginia residents. Pay for a day* and get unlimited visits to Busch Gardens Europe through September 4, 2006. Offer expires May 31st. Some restrictions may apply. *Based on full-priced general admission.

Taken directly off http://www.buschgardens.com/buschgardens/va/default.aspx

So either:
1. Theres a new Busch Gardens and the webmaster slipped it out.
2. Busch Gardens Williamsburg is Changing to Busch Gardens Europe?
3. The webmaster is stupid and for some reason put Busch Gardens Europe.

I thought Europeans didn't care for American beers. It wouldn't make sense to build a park over there where the primary sponsor is an American beer.

Well, there is a possibility it will be changing it's name. All of the countries featured there are European.

It could have been a early name for Port Aventura. Busch owned a big share in that park when it opened.

Ok, well now that this is brought to my attention, when I recieved my passmember brochure in the mail, it clearly says Busch Gardens Europe in the logo, and in regular printing, so it's pretty confirmed. Do we call it BGE now?

Lol, I dunno. I think they just decided to have a bit more descriptive name, but it doesn't really help, lots of people will go to Europe looking for a Busch Gardens now.(hyyyper)[LOL]

IMO I think BGW should stick. I don't know why, it just sounds better than BGE, which can be misleading, and BGTOC seems a little long and stuff.

Why have Busch Gardens Europe in America? Europe sucks, so I have no idea why they'd want to name a park after it. Busch Gardens Williamsburg should stay

Pft Europe? It should so be called Williamsburg! Especially as its in America. Why call it Busch Gardens Europe when its in America, even if it does have some european themeing? Its just weird. Thats like saying my home park should be called Pleasure Island Morroco cos it has some morrocan themeing? WTF is that all about? It sucks. Keep Williamsburg, that name screamed out CLASS to me for some reason.

Ok.... If they change Bush Gardens Williamsburg, to Busch Gardens Europe, they are going to have to change Busch Gardens Tampa Bay to Busch Gardens Africa!

^ I guess your right, but I don't have a pass for Busch Gardens Tampa(Or Africa). Anyways, I just realized, what about New France?(Better known as Canada). Thats not in Europe.

About thememing an whatnot, and why its not called BGE. An email I recievd after qustioning them:

Dear Mr. Van Den Hurk:

Thank you for your interest in Busch Gardens Williamsburg. The name Busch Gardens Europe helps to better reflect our European theme and differentiate us from our sister park, Busch Gardens Africa in Tampa Bay. Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia has a European country reflected through six countries, or areas, of the park including England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Germany and Italy.

Thank you for visiting our website. Should you require additional information, please contact our Customer Information & Service Center at 1-800-343-7946.

Sincerely,

Genevieve
