Hey guys.
Sorry about posting another topic on AHG as there have been a lot lately but i have a little problem.
Im making a ride that includes a top hat. It looks like this.
(Not AHGed.)

And this is what it looks like when AHGed.

I really would like to use AHG to smooth it but i would like it to look pretty similar to when it is un-AHged.
If you can help in any way at all it would be appreciated!
Thanks.

Jordz.

The problem is your ride is already heartlined before you AHGed it. So its gonna double heartline it.

Jordz, if the ride goes up towards the 90 degree (vertical) mark you'll get some weird banking values like you just shown.

Also, the AHG is not meant to smooth tracks at all. Infact it will make them worse because it will enlarge any jerks that are in the track.

If you still think the idea of AHG'ing your track makes it smoother, the idea is the AHG it with a heartline value of "0". This forces it so it wont double heartline it. Also to make it that extra bit smoother, try bumping up the filter value to something like 40 - 80
