so maybe she should have gotten something, but what she recieved was rediculous. I think its the court system that will ruin our economy. Thats why everyone sues, just to make a quick buck. When I'm rich, I'll have to buy a big island some where so I can stay away from sue happy america.
She could have been fine with $500,000. Its enought to buy a nice house, or pay for her medical bills, and still have left over money. But even a million would have been rediculous. Disneyland broke my friends knee, and he got $5,000 for it and a lifetime pass. It was enough to make him happy, and I can't see the rock beimg much more different then Disneyland braking my friends knee.
3.6 million for being hit by a rock? Damm, it takes here 10000 bucks to undertake surgery and then she can live hapely ever afther with her 3.6 million dollars. Six flags could beter use the monney to do something about there parks.
same as last years case, some guy killed his cat by putting her in the mircowave, he sued the constructurs for not putting in the manual 'putting pets in the microwave is lethal'
the usa is stupid on sueing people. sf shouldnt of been given that but they should of got fined for it, if they knew people were throwing rocks they should of stopped it but 3.6 million is way over the top.
i once herd a story on tv that a guy in las vegus who was skisofrenic (carnt spell it) sued his other personality for giving him a bad reputation? wtf?
How the hell are you to enforce people NOT to throw rocks? Have a line of guards that follow the path of the coaster, they see someone throw a rock they run after them with tazers? Give me a break.
Besides don't you think you put up a sign that says, "Please don't throw the rocks" people will see that and think, "I've never thought of throwing rocks, sounds like fun."

ok so i thin when you see a sign saying "may cause death by electic shock" you would see if its true would you. div.
good...
i've never seen a sign on a ride that said"watch for flying rocks" they knew it was a problem and did not fx it, to top it off they tried to put the blame on her by saying that getting hit on the head with a rock was part of the risks involved on a rollercoaster. bull... we know it, they know it and still tried to get out of it... the award was more punitive, a punishment to six flags for being greedy and trying to avoid responsibility for this incident.
