They've been talking about this on the news for over a week now. My question is Why? Why are they talking about a ferrari wreck like it's the freaking Scott Peterson case?[lol]

[lol] If i had a Ferrari Enzo, i would be terrified about taking it out on the streets. I would never want to leave it parked anywhere in fear that someone would scratch it

Well, this is probably the fault of the owner. Ferrari owners sometimes have a tendancy to go faster than the speed liit because they think that by driving a Ferrari they are above the law.

The reason this has been so frantically followed by the media doesn't have to do so much with the fact that a Ferrari was destroyed. Orginally, that was why there was such media coverage for it, but now the media coverage remains due to the fact that Eriksson is suspected of being involved in various major crime rings. For one, he is suspected of being involved in the Swedish mafia. Also, it is though that his cars(or the money to purchase them) were attained illegally due to the fact that his company, Gizmondo, was teribly unsuccessful. Additionally, it is possible that this could be a link into a crime ring wihin Southern California that could be linked to the Swedish mafia or possibly even other mafia crime rings around the world, meaning that if the FBI/police in general can make a breakthrough with this case, it could be possible to reveal a large crime ring, which would obviously be a huge breakthrough.

Yea. Because why on earth own 2 of those things? Isnt one enough?

Heck, Id rather have the Porsche Carrera GT over an Enzo just because its so much sexier but the Enzo is a hot car still.

With all that money he should have just rented out Laguna Seca which Im sure isnt that far from them there. Its a race track that would suit the Enzo quite well.

Ahhh, now only 398 enzo's to go[lol]

Nice to see that Ferrari's idea of a non-spaceframe cabin was put to good use.

Nop, all alluminum and steel spaceframe. And if you have that much cash, you buy a Bugatti Veyron, not an Enzo. The veyron is faster, 254 mph top speed, has tons more horse power, 1034hp with triple digit tourque figures to go with it, it's actually comfortable and has, IMO, the best interior an exotic can offer, and finally, compered to the Enzo, it's a technological breakthrough, it handles better, at 250 and aat 25, and who could pass up a quad-supercharged W-16 engengine. In your face Ferrari[:p](still love the 430)

Why buy a doormat if you don't intend to have people wipe their feet on it? "don't wipe your feet on the doormat, it's new"

Also, the Enzo is nowhere near as good looking as the Carerra GT, but then neither of them are as good looking as any Aston Martin(spec. aside) I'd have this over either of them anyday.

^ I do love the styling of the Astons but they are BOATS! Wait, no. They are TANKS. They weigh so, so much. But they arent super cars. They are Touring GT cars.

The Enzo and Carrera GT are super cars meant to go really fast and perform very well. Astons are meant to cruise at good speeds (70-90mph) and be perfectly comfortable doing so.

Yeah, i know they are, but i wouldn't own a supercar anyway, even if i had the money, just too much hassle. They are big and awkward to drive anywhere off the race track. You're a top gear watcher, did you see the issue with getting the Ford GT, Zonda and Ferrari out of the parking garage. Too much trouble for my liking. The guys above that asked why you'd buy a car like that...well, it's to drive them, but i wouldn't because it's less than practical.

^If I had the money to own any one of those Id have a garage built around it. Not my current garage.

Most people who own cars like they have a purpose built place to put it.

Sadly I cant watch Top Gear till they bring it back to the US. They (Discover) told me it "ran its course but will be back" but who knows. I dont see why they just cant port it over or at LEAST put it on BBC because I get that.

Yeah, basically, multi storey car park, in a public place, and they caused a 4 hour delay trying to get a zonda out on to the street because the ground clearance wasn't enough for them to drive out, so there's no possible purpose building. They had to set up a crude ramp and remove the front part of the car to get it out.

Iman - the Veyron is a luxury GT, not a sports car. Theyr'e two separate things. The Bugatti is out of this world yes, but you can't compare the two. Besides, you're 33 hp off, it's 1001 for all versions. (lol, couldn't help it), and the Enzo is the better handler (it stays flat in any corner), just not faster in the straight due to it being at loss of 400 horses. ;)
