Just to add to that, Premiers and Shwarty's also have seatbelts which are absent on the Beamer hypers.

Woodie Man, try chiming in when you know what you're talking about.

SOME Schwarzkopf coasters have seat belts, but almost all of those exist because the PARK added them later. The coasters usually are built without them.

Premier seat belts? Perhaps, but not on any of the Premier coasters I've been on.
My body isn't a temple. It's an amusement park.

Silverstar does actually have seatbelts... don't know about the other B&M hypers though.

Even if I personally wouldn't build one for such a contest, I think they would safely manage to go through a big vertical loop, no other inversions though.

Im wondering CK why you didnt AHG the entire track? Im definatly expecting transition bumps with some of those changes in handle lengths even with it being Elementary.

I don't think that he heartlined it yet. Those big changes in vertex count are just from the formulas, and poor knowledge.

Its not so much a seat belt but a belt from the train to the lap bar. Correct? Its still functioning as a seat belt - an extra level of protetion.

Its really apples to oranges. The way Schwartzy's and Premiere lock you in is in no way similar to that of a B&M Hyper coaster - period.

silverstar with seatbelts? Since when?[confused] Or are those only in the front and backseat?

When Arrow were working on the prototype Corkscrew they went for OTSRs so that people would 'feel' safer and they said lapbars would have been adequate. The swines. Schwarzkopf and the Sirocco incident also proved that. I guess OTSR's became standard though[:(!].
As for the B&M hyper's I personally don't see the need for inversions.

Why aren't some people smart enough to read the rules. I've seen so much tracks getting disqualified for ignoring the 20 ft clearence rule. Why? Just why? Is it such a big deal to look at it from the side? I mean, it's sad that some got diqualified for that, although the track was really good:/

However, I'm not sure if I'm able to finish my track. I won't have much time untill saturday and I'm only halfway done with supports. Gonna be tough but I'll try!

I'm real proud of this coaster, it's definitely been the fastest I've ever made a ride of this quality.

Now I have to do supports... but this is it for now.

I have 5, 28 passenger trains, with dual stations for more guests per hour.

^^^You have no idea how similar our rides are except I included a couple unique parts to mine. That and since its not an Elementary ride it doesnt have those crappy transitions from hills to turns where the radius doesnt stay constant :P

Sorry, its a huge pet peeve and why I still hand build.

None the less - best one uploaded yet.

Finally, I thought you were tooling it Real. Thats good to hear. Hand building the ride gives you so much more control and you don't even need to think about formula's, you just "Do It". Theres no math in that! By the way, did you AHG your ride or do you heart line that yourself too.

Looks good drummerkid. You going to have to work flat out on those supports. [:)] I'm also nearly done, but I think Grav wont let me borrow his environment. Too bad.

I only normally tool hills but for this ride I wanted to recreate those hills exactly. It would be a little hard to do with a tool because the radius is a little strange at the top. Wing Over is as close as Ive seen but his still arent sharp enough over the top.

This ride was hand built but smoothed with the smoother. So in essense you could say its tooled but really its all hand built. I went through 100 saves on my computer and countless other saves as I tweaked and retweaked every portion.

I do use the AHG but not until I know the track can handle it. I went with segments on this of 6ft which is really small.

I use the AHG because its impossible to recreate the type of heartlines you need for some elements and shapes by hand. You need too small of segments in order to do some elements. Especially for coasters with inversions but even for this I have a few turns which wouldnt have been possible to heartline by hand AND still keep the realistic feel to it.

I dont feel the Smoother or AHG are really "tooling" it since both require a decent input for an even greater output. However, I do have a system devised where I move pretty quickly and it all works out in the end.

At heart, almost all of my rides are 90-95% Hand built.

looks can be deciving my friend[^] and yea you did teach me basiclly that program. and the only reason it does look so called "crappy" is because you cant see some turns from side and front views
