Why are Talons, Silver Bullet, and now Patriots stations all the same?

because they're B&M's all the money is up and so they can't afford designing a new station

I doubt its that Cedar Fair can't afford to design a new station, or else why would they be shelling out a few million dollars for the coaster? [lol]

All three are the same type of coaster, made by the same manufacturer, same number of trains, Talon and Silver Bullet have same number of cars and they are all under the Cedar Fair umbrella. It seems logical to me that they are reusing the station designs with only minor alterations, much cheaper than designing 3 seperate stations.

The more and more I watch it the more I realize how its going to be the exact opposite. Foceless and no directional change.

You must not notice the signs of a coaster with force then. I can spot at least 3 key reasons this would be more forceful than Silver Bullet. It wont be say, a Raptor, but I think itll be on par with Talon.

Infact, and maybe it was the day I rode it, but I found Talon to be even more forceful than say, Raptor or Montu and had one of the most flowing layouts - ever.

Silver Bullet has the helix which is pretty forceful, and the loop is reasonable. THose are the only forceful spots I see on Patriot as well. The only thing i see on patriot that I like better than SB is the drop and the immelman, but overall they look mainly on par, but at least SB's helix is better.[:P]

Yea, but the loop on Patriot is far more circular and will probably pound you with G's on the entrance and exit - especially the exit.

The turnaround helix also looks to be a bit more forceful because the banking is a bit more extreme. Also that wingover is huge! I think that wingover will be sweet because its pointy and not so round and flowing. Instead, it seems like it will really whip the riders up and over it for something far different than is typical.

Even if it all turns out to be false, its one of the best looking rides Ive seen in awhile. Simply gorgeous to look at.

^ About your wingover comment, I swear all B&M's wingover's feel the same to me from Top Gun to Batman to Silver Bullet, it just really doesn't do much for me. The only corkscrews that I've really enjoyed was Riddler's revenge by that's more force than lateral motion of any kind.

Man, you must be paralyzed!

Sure the general motion is the same - thats why its called a wingover. But from BTR to Raptor to Montu to Talon I found them all different.

That list I just gave, in that order, they go from most intense to least intense in terms of acceleration of rotation but I still like them all the same.

If it doesnt do anything for you though, thats probably why you dont notice.

Looks like a fun ride to me.

Oh, and the Cobra Roll on Alpengiest is pretty forceful too.

I LOVE the ZeroG on this thing. Its so drawn out. You can almost feel the long duration of floater all the way over it.

And I also must say that from the airtime hill over the station till the end it HAULS. Look at the speed at which it blasts into the brakes.

Is it me or does that video look kinda like those coaster dnynamix models? I really couldnt help thinking that. The Loop looks awesome, the rest of the ride is so so. Also if you want a forcefull loop, go ride Nemesis! We are talking serious gs the whole way round, no just entrance and exit, the whole damn loop feels like you are going to be flung out of your seat

The beginning of the ride reminds me alot of Top Gun at Carowinds.
