Why do videos from that rapidshare wbesite never work for me anymore? They used to, but the last like 10 videos people have linked me to on there, haven't worked... hmmmm.

Really? It was quite weak when I rode it. Of course, I got the normal "lets trim this great ride to death so much that its not really that great" ride. Kumba on the other hand - amazing speed. Montu...ehh.

Montu is too tempermental. One day I hear the trims are light, another, they are hard. With them off of course it would be great but they dont run is consistantly one way or another (more towards trims harder) for it to be that great.

The layout rules on Montu its just ruined by BGT. DD is far superior in force and even Raptor is right up there. But thats because Raptor was one of the first full blown models and back when B&M had less reguard for human life :P

Dude, i found Montu's wingover v.forcefull indeed, but its true different people do feel more or less affected through high g-forces, indeed a fact.

True, but not what I was talking about. Montu is a very problematic ride with BGT. They cant seem to determine from day to day whether to keep the trims on or off and how hard to apply them when they are on. I have been there only once but all day it was the same, somewhat lackluster ride that had boatloads of potential.

On the same token, I speak to people who have gotten a completely different ride.

However, Ive been to IOA twice and each time both Fire and Ice ran the exact same way - awesome. So does Raptor. I just wish I could have ridden Montu without the really hard trims and experienced it the way it was meant. In the current state with trims - its nothing special really.

I think the overall ride will be great....the fly-throughs look awesome. I only wish it was closer to home....I've come across alot of people who don't seem to fancy B&M's Silver ....I thoguht silver bullet was an awesome ride...I loved the layout, very orginal, also great use of the different inversions and elements used throughout the ride.

Fire and Ice are truely special experiences, to be sure.
I've ridden Montu without the trims on, and I must say, I found it better than either of those. But I did ride it with them on once, and it was much less fun.

Phantasialand's in Bruhl, or is that Buhl? I forget the spelling. Somewhere near Frankfurt, I believe...Ah, screw the location! I give up!The park's in Germany, if you never knew...

Back on topic...As far as theming goes, it looks like this one blows ol' Nemmy out of the water. Anyone got stats? Been looking all over the place for them...

EDIT: Aw, crud! Now this is what I get for rushing![sillyme]

I meant for the first part of my reply to be in response for someone who was wondering where the place was, only to find out the QAH(q.-at-hand) was already asked! D'OH!!![sillyme][dorkhat][confused][:I][:(!][V]

Sorry 'bout that. Anyway, like I said before-the theming is the PWNAGE!!![:D]
-And I still want stats!!!

Roller Coaster Data Base

www.rcdb.com

Its pretty much the best source for stats on tons of coasters around the world, including a bunch of pictures.

Anyways, from the pics i've seen on Onride.de, the building surrounding the lift looks to be pretty awesome. Now that its uncovered, you can see it alot better.

This ride looks sweet! It looks like it might have an intense layout, and very nice scenery.
