Mt. Olympus and Timber Falls are pretty close to Chicago aswell. Plenty of waterparks in the Dells aswell.

^^^ you people need organization for your lists.
I myself am planning a coaster trip with my friend. We're hoping to go to CP and a bunch of other parks. CP & HW are definates on the list for us, but we have a bunch of parks that we have on the chopping/adding block. Although i think we're leaning more towards going to parks with good wooden coasters since living in SoCal we're deprived of such. SO like we'd go to CP since its CP, then HW and Indiana Beach and maybe go to Beech Bend or places like that, so who knws.

Anyways for your trip I'd suggest looking at parks yourself, go onto the Six Flags site and see how many six flags parks are on the way because if you get a pass you get into all the other parks.[;)] Also you can look on rcdb to see what near by parks there are.

august or september. ive been lokking ar rcdb and we carnt decide on a route. the longer route takes inmore parks but we would have to travel all night and be in all parks for only one day, but there is a shorter route wch would mean we get 3 days in cedar point and 2 days else where plus a few other stops.

Don't forget to come to Cedar Point... I'll be working there, at the pretzel stand under the skyride, all summer.

I reccommend that you go to Holiday World. You'll never look at woodies or parks the same way again...

Well, for a diverse collection of rides, possibly try a NY madness trip (SFDL, Seabreeze, Sylvan Beach, MFI, TGE) Or at least Seabreeze and Sylvan Beach, as they have both have VERY different and unique atmospheres that are very rare.

If they are coming from outside the US, then the smaller mom-pop parks aren't what they'll want. They get that at home! More coasters, better coasters, who cares what the theme is, that's the ticket!

You're starting at SFGAd. Get a season pass.
Hit SFA, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, then back up to SFNE.
Hit Coney Island long enough to ride the Cyclone, then head for Lakemont, PKI, Holiday World, Beechbend, PKI, Geauga Lake, and end at CP.

Good Lord, you've got 21 days! I've done more parks than that in that area in 12!

It's all about planning. Hit the parks right when they open, ride the coasters FIRST, then hit any flat rides you might want to do, and LEAVE. You can sometimes even do one park in the morning, drive a couple hours, and finish up with another park in the evening.

I'd make sure you had two days for CP, though and a full day for PKI just because they're so big.

You can do it! I once rode 60+ coasters in 5 different countries in two weeks.
My body isn't a temple. It's an amusement park.

I think he said they're starting with SF Great America, not Gread Adventure. I could be wrong though.
