I have a relatively new fan site for all coasters and parks in Northeastern America. The range extends west to Cedar Point and south to BGW. So I consider the Northeast to be about a quarter of the country.

Anyway, my site is finished, the forums are functional, and so far I have 8 members and a good number of active topics already. I just need more members because my site is starting to die (activity wise), so if anyone here would like to join I'd highly appreciate it.

And by the way, you don't have to be from the North East or even from the continent to join. You can also talk about anything else you want because I have an off topic forum as well. My site, in addition to being a fansite, is also an exchange site like this one in a way. You upload a file to the forums, provide a screenshot, and people use that thread to review it. So my little freewebs site offers a lot for it's size, and well....basically I'm desperate for more members so I'm going to place a link if any of you are interested![:)]

Go eat yourself![:(!]

If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything. You just couldn't WAIT for an oppurtunity to bash the new member could you?

I was only 10 and i thought i was really cool making a website, I had SOOOO much fun[:D].

I'de give you the link for the site but i forgot it!
You have done well creating that site using such a bad web-editer. It may come in useful to me one day!.
Good Job.

Thanks! That's only the second compliment I ever got on my site! I am adding a new photo archive to my site soon as well, so hang tight! I also submitted my site to Google, and a couple other search engines. It should get more popular soon, so my suggestion to all of you reading this is to join. Just so that when the general public finds my website, they will be more attracted if there's more members.

good luck, but for a site to really take off it should be on paid hosting and paid domain name in all web devs opinion. A free site will only get you so far. Don't expect for your site to be huge, well maybe in Japan. But good luck [:)]

^ i also recommend a new background, something like thsi site where its blue, but its got a patern, and stuff, anyways, you get the idea, be creative and come up with your own idea for a background, but generally speaking, pictures as backgrounds are very tacky... Anyways, good luck!

hey nimrod... midi is not music, it is a code for instruments to talk to each other and a sequencer or a computer, it is a signal that indicates note on, duration , and note off. midi signals can also translate sysx data to different keyboards so that parameter changes can be saved and played back.. geez, know what you're talking about before you talk.. it is very clear that you're just doing it to degrade someone .....

Well the only thing I don't like about freewebs is their selection of templates. You have to chose one of their designs, which all suck or else put your own pictures. Just one question, what does "tacky" mean?

Might want to think before you shoot your mouth off. Not only do I know what MIDI is, but I have 3 MIDI devices within 5 feet of me, and I have written software to both read and write MIDI files.

So do I, so PISS OFF!!! You WERE only trying to insult my site, and now you're trying to sound all smart about something COMPLETELY off topic! So get out of my face, and stay out of this topic!

You're the immature one. Just because I still live with my parents and can't afford to pay for my own website yet, doesn't mean you need to go insulting my freewebs site! If you can make a better looking site than mine using freewebs, then maybe I'll gain some respect for you.

I'm sure I could. I've run extremly popular websites before. Don't get delusions of granduer. I at one time was getting PAID to do web development. It's really rather funny that you're actually defending that eye sore of a site...

fine,i apologize for calling names.. i believe you, since you DO know what you're talking about then it seems certain that yer just trying to put his site down, if you have any suggestions then share them, if you think the site could be better then help a brother out. this whole "it sucks" critisism doesn't explain anything, and the simplicity of it detracts from it's source's credibility..

Alright Thorazine, this is your warning, stop putting down people's websites. Just because they have less experience with web building than what you do does not give you the right to put them down. If you persist, then the rest of the staff and I will think of a proper punishment.

Play nicely.[:)]

Thanks for clearing it up! [;)] Whatever you do, just don't lock this topic because I will be announcing updates soon.
