well sunday came around and me, my sister zoe and her boyfriend paul want to the towers for a full and fun day out on the final day of the season and the final day of the fright nights event.

fisrt off it was cold, very very cold and the warmth of the monirail was loverly all the way to the entrance gate. after purchasing tickets we went throught the gate house and was greeted by 2 jacks and by thousands upon thousands of pumpkings lining some really good thememing on the pond and round the hurse at the end of the main street.

first ride of the day was spinball wizzer wich ive always found to be an excelent ride and for it never to dissapoint ever. not much of a que but was feeling really really cold not long afterwards getting on it.

shurely then heading that way rita had to come nexet with its walk on que, yeah nobody was there we got on it 2 times in a row. alwasy great forces and the sensation of speed is great constantly being so close to the floor

we had to go on corkscrew of corse for the nostalger of it and to hear me contract torrets as i bashed my jaw constantly on the restaints while riding the back row.

so by this time we needed to get colder so we headed over to the rapids, only my sister got wet [lol] so me and paul stayed dry. and while we were there we added the mine train to our list of things we had done in the day.

since it was the halloween event how could we miss duel out so we got on it again with zoe holing her head in pauls chest all the time and me and paul only finishing 200 point appart and no we carnt beat your score edge (i think you know how to cheat at them or somthing[;)])

so forbiden vally for air was next again its so soothing and pretty much smooth and slow, still makes for a decent ride but its just so forceless and slow it is only worth doing it the once.

then wierdly instead of hitting nemesis we headed back towards rita while on the way me and paul went on terror in the towers. it was extreamly scary with actors jumping out at you, bodys hanging from lines infront of you dripping with blood, the first women knew pauls name and we didnt know how?, and then the terrorfying run out of the castle with the master of the house chasing us with a sharp knife.

then again we hit rita with its practically walk on que waiting a whole 5 mine[worship]

hex looked like a warm place so in we went, again same as usual with the story and spinning room but at least it was very warm and cosy.

by this tine it was just starting to turn dark so into the x-sector we headed. hitting first submittion. i havent been on it in 3 years and i forgot how good a flat ride it acctually is.

then enterprise for some original huss spinning fun. then oblivion now it was pitch black dark. excelent ride at night seems alot higher and quicker and alot more enjoyable.

as we walked back over towards the forbiden vally the FOG started rolling in. we hit the mine train again as it was starting to get misty which again was far more enjoyable at night with the extra sence of speed.

by the time we got to the forbiden vally the mist had turned into a very thick fog making the only ride of the day on nemesis even better. the pitch blackness of the dark and the fog made it near impossiable to see where you was going and made it so much more enjoyable. it was that thick from the que line where you enter the station building you coudent see the loop and the loop is right next to it.

so now we needed to hit rita once more but befor we did spinball wizzer in the dark. at the top of the lift hill you couldent see the floor it was again even better than any other time ive been on it.

finally we got to rita which seemed to dissapeer into the nige with its launch. moore speed, more cold and less visability made it so much better its unbelivable so we had to hit it 4 times in a row.

finally it was nearing 9:15pm so we headed to the yourday booth where paul brought the dvd and i still need to check online for mine

as we left the park the fog go so thick that t took me 3 hours to drive my usual 35mins drive home

all in all it was a smashing day and i would like to thank the whole of the alton towers staff for a great day and a wicked season at alton. i would also like th thank paul and zoe for being there so we could have such a great day

i finnish off with the photo wich sums up my feeling about the day and the entire season at alton towers this year
