Your ears werent going to bleed ECR. Everyone just likes to make Arrows seem like the devils coasters. Maybe you just cant handle some forces? Ive been on a Python clone - it wasnt bad at all.

The pain is not in my head... its in my shoulders, I have to stretch for about a minute everytime I get off of Viper.

Real, no doubt i can handle forces, but smashing your head against a horsecollar isn't a very good thing[lol].

My head is perfectly in the range of the horsecollar restraints.

I just find it very hard to smash my head against them unless I try, or, ride without trying to ride correctly. 99% of all Arrow haters ride incorrectly - seen it time and time again.

Corkscrew at Alton Towers is great, no headbanging and it runs through the screws quite quick.
Massive exeption for Python at Busch Gardens though. I dont know what it is. I have extremly broad shoulders but as i said, it cant be that because Corkscrew at Alton seems quite smooth to me.
Very confusing.

Corkscrew at Alton is made by Vekoma. Different track and different trains believe it or not. Python is Arrow.

Its all in how you ride. Corkscrew at CP (Which is Arrow) is very smooth for an Arrow but I rode Python and a clone of it and both rode exactly the same with minor differences.


You just gotta know how to ride. Its not like you can get in, sit down and just sit there.

Awesome, you will enjoy it there.
Make sure you get a ride on the Mummy across at the Studios. ITS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The ticket will get you into both parks.

The combination of the 2 park has to be 10x better than CP. And seriously did not imagine having anywhere near as much fun as I did when I went. It was simply amazing![:D]

But for being such an amazing park, they sure are on top of things with thier technology....

I found them very sleek, but then again im from England where they give you a key like this big <-------------------------------------------->

What a freaking day! The TR will most likely be done on Sunday ... but man, ROTM ... Hulk ... Fire (over ice) ... Spiderman ... what an excellent day for certain! More to follow.

Oh, and those lockers? Geesh, they are rediculous.

Yea, ROTM has crazy air time. I've never been on the one in CA (wierd.. isn't it?) But it is seriously my favorite ride in its category.
As far as hulk is concerned... So much potential but the good part of the ride stops after the first loop, then everything after that is a little to drawn out for my liking. But at least it looks good.[:D]

But if you want to talk about a good sit down looper.... Kumba!

Kumba was one of my first looping coasters and man does it ROCK. I think I road it 10 times that day I was there. Its way better than the Hulk.

Hulk < Kumba < DD:Fire


Kumba does have wicked speed but for my personal preference I do like SOME variation in speeds. Kumba just goes so fast that elements are taken at the same speed. Zero G is wayy too fast. Regular loop is great but Dive loop and Cobra COULD have been a touch slower to give you more of a whip in acceleration/deceleration instead of the one constant "Ultra-mega-super-happy-fun-speed" it runs with.

That speed does pay off after the MCB but its hard to enjoy any elements with such demanding speed.


Just my .02.

Hulk was "ok" -- but imo, it was very weak for all the hype it had, but not totally terrible. The little drop after the MCB was totally forced and felt like crap (you could even feel the brakes yanking) ... certainly though, much less thrill than Fire had.
