Coming along nicely, I wonder if there are construction photos of Mindbender in Edmonton? I always wondered how they got it in there, they had to make the building last, but either way its mind boggling.

Anywho, the trim brake dosnt look all that nasty, I like the turn around, and there are quite a lot of hills! Airtime galore. I hope it interacts with a pathway of main scenery object in the park.

I doubt its going to interact with anything great, it basically goes along the edge of the park to the parking lot and back.

As far as Mindbender goes, you should try contacting the mall itself to see if they have some sort of archive or something. I doubt they would build the worlds biggest mall with no one documenting it in one way or another. Another source might be newspapers from the Edmonton area.

And another update... [:D]

The station roof is now on, close look at the single trim (only one brake piece, which is good) and some close up shots of the delicious looking turnaround. It also looks like alot of the supports are in place for the yet to be placed track, so the twisted hill might popup pretty soon.

That turn around is gonna have some wierd directional changes and other feelings. It'll probably be the most talked about element. The rest of the ride will just be talked about as a whole, but at least you get a LOT of air time with parabolic hills.[^]

I think it might be an expansion joint of some sort as there is quite an obvious gap between the spine but little or no gap between the rails.

Sorry Screamomatic!!! you misunderstood me[:p] ... In fact i'm talking about pictures i took showing pieces for the new water park at La Ronde in 2007. For the expansion, he's talking about expansion caused by cold and hot temperatures. Thanks for the translation Thundermat [;)]

Hey !!! Don't be so rude Sixflagsfiesta !! If you're jealous it's not our fault (us great canadians)[;)] Goliath is new so the computer may have better technology too. The trains are also hot, they fit with the track.

Sacre bleu! Pardonnez ton Francais!(quoting Terrance & Phillip: PARDON YOUR FRENCH, BUDDY![:D])

Anyway, those trains look a little too Superman-ish colorwise. Aw, to hell w/ that initial comment-the entire ride as a whole's a little too Superman-ish colorwise! And another thing-Our computers are just as good-thing is though, those bloody Quebeckers just used better materials to keep everything in place.

OH SNAP! I'd better pardon my French!!![:p]

I really wish those colors were never associated with Superman. That color combo is vibrant and beautiful and I think its great. So what if the colors are like another ride..or two or ten. No one knows.

Its in Cananda for goodness sakes! They have like...4-5 amusement parks in their entire land worth going too (more like 2-3 worth going too and one includes Coaster in Playland [;)] )
