OK, WWS knows about this and so does SFF (obviously) -- but ....

The site www.coasters2k.com is officially no more. I have had it with that foul piece of crap crashing on us, and in all honesty, it ain't worth the time anymore. The coding from the past is crap, period - end of discussion. It just ain't worth the time trying to revamp it since everything is through the database -- and that alone is a piece of garbage from beginning to end.

So, Slap, here is my official hand extension to you. If you ever need ANYTHING to help you out here, I'm available. C2K is a wasted piece of dung, and I am not investing one more second of my life into it (Man, I just feel better saying that ....) --

Maybe we could turn it into a free porn site? (I'm kidding Real, sit back down now.)

honestly i am surprised you didnt make this announcement years ago, that site always was a number 3 site anyways after CS and WWS. next site to go will be CF, and HOPEFULLY TN, ive gotten so sick of TN it isnt funny. lol.

Hmmm, i only visted coasters2k a couple of times. It was good, just not as good as WWS and coasterforce.

Pad -- I need to talk to Jon about it as I am sure he is gonna be hot. But, hopefully he will make an appearance here, no telling though.

Some insight though: I talked to three different coders this morning. All three are convinced this was an inside job - and that someone who knew where stuff was caused the crash. When I explained how it happened (systematically, beginning with the forums) - two of them immediately said this was a hack via someone who had a backdoor - like a certain folder which shall remain nameless at this time.

Again, very odd this would happen right after I bought it ... then again right after everything was back up and running. Now, I cannot prove anything -- but if I ever am able (in case anyone involved might see this) to prove it, I will personally DDOS your machine into the next millenium, allowing you to enter the internet was Coasters3K comes online. As a network administrator for the Air Force with a server room at his finger tips - this, is my promise.

Sorry to hear C2K is death, i started my coastersimulator career on that site. In fact I had some pretty nice rides on that site, wich I was planning to transfer to my new pc sometime.. oh well..

I relly liked coaster2k it was a good site. I only had 6 post in the forms at that site I whould always downloed the parks and tracks off of that site it was a fun site I will miss it I liked the tracks for rct3 and the parks for rct3 I hope that you get the site back up soon so I can downloed more tracks and parks off that site I am sorry that the site had to come to an end.

I only joined any forum last October so I really didn't have much time to find all the sites, muchless yours.

The first time I heard about it was after the crash like 3 weeks ago.

Ya know what is the real killer? The fact that I spent hundreds of hours learning how to do something (php), and it is all gone to waste now. That my friends, is the ultimate 10 foot q-tip in the urethra.

You have to regret that statement. Learning php has never gone to waste. You'll use it again one day when you least expect it. Trust me.
