In Phoenix, I have seen prices from $2.69-$2.80, but with both of my parents working for a total of $80,000 a year, that's fine with me. So I ask, What is your gas prices?

MINE AVERAGE ABOUT 2.85/GAL Here in Indianapolis, In. I was pissed that filling up my 14 gallon car took almost 40 freaking dollars!!! Ugh!...I'm broke. I gotta drive 30 miles to and from school everyday, including saturday, because I have saturday class. And I gotta drive to work, I barely have the gas to go anywhere I want. That's why I been staying at home alot lately. I spend a good 60-75 dollars a week on gas.

$2.80-$3.00 Maryland/DC and right now I'm down at Virginia Tech, its a little bit cheaper.

EVERYONE BUY A HYDROGEN CAR! w000t! I can't wait until they're in mass production. But that makes you wonder if we can actually get our environment to revert. it seems like the damage is permanent. anyone know a bit about this?

Hydrogen will cost much much more for fuel in its current state of developement. The storage tanks are bulkier and hold less than gasoline, E85 or diesel tanks do. Right now, I'd say a plug in hybrid would be a good idea. That or a diesel, they're very clean burning these days.

Hybrids are good in the sense that they're clean burning and they buy us time to find a better, even more renewable fuel source. With that said, I can't help but feel they're only a way to extend the shortage. Even though its almost inevitable, I hope that car retails won't try and see this is just a new sales proposition. I REALLY hope they see the real problem that hybrids and newer generations of cars are made to prevent.

a litre is much less than a galleon,... a galleon is a big spanish sailing ship..... in san diego it's $2.99.9 for regular. its a ripoff, and if they couldn't get it to us any cheaper how come the gas companies are making more money than ever before? sniff, sniff, i smell something fishy..

The reason the gaz is so expensive now is the crisis in the middle earth with iran and stuff. So Norway with its big oil export is making good money this days[:)]

1 US Gallon = 3.78 liters

So if your gas price is $1.80 per liter you're paying $6.80 per US Gallon.

Gas here is $1.04 or so per liter (Canadian dollars) Comes to $3.93 Canadian dollars per US Gallon, then with today's exchange rate... $3.42 US dollars per US gallon...
