I was wondering what your home park is.

My Home park is PCW

Walibi World.. Also working there

drayton manor, soon to be working there after ive finnished my uni studies.

I live in the countryside just outside Bolton in the north of England.
A good collection of parks very near to me and others far away. But if you think. In comparison to America every park is local in England because the size difference is sooo huge.

If i had to say my local park it would be Blackpool because its the closest one i visit the MOST and is the best one.
Here is a list of parks with the journey time by car in minutes.

Blackpool- 35 to 40 mins
Southport- 60 mins
Camelot- (the closest one but also the worst) 30 mins
Alton Towers- 2 hours 10 mins
Flamingo Land- 2 and a half hours
Fantasy Island- 2 and a half hours ish

There are the nearest ones to me although places like Drayton and Thorpe creep was over 3 hours and thorpe hitting 4 easily.

Back on more specific topic, Blackpool is my local park.

I'm lucky enough to be able to travel aswell, i've been to loads of parks waaaayyy overseas in America and Spain and a few others elsewhere around Great Britan in Wales and Scotland etc.

But indeed nothing can beat a local park(:D)

My home park is probably the most obscure, unkown park in the world: Sylvan Beach. Although it is about 400 by 400 feet, it is one of my favorite parks as it has a great atmosphere and retains the classic 1950's park very well.

Hmmm mine are:
Pleasure Island - 40mins
Fantasy Island - 50mins?
Flamingoland - 1 hour and 30mins (this is my preferred choice)

or i can travel just 30mins further and get to alton [:D]

But anyway im going to flamingoland on Saturday. Look out for the vid of Kumali [;)]

My step-mom's parents live in Rome, NY. We go up there every once in a while. So one time when we were up there, I heard about the park, so we made the tre over there and I rode Galaxi. Yeah, your right, it does have a classic feel though.

Oh, and my homepark, which most of you probably know, is BGW.

As of today actually, SFFT and Schlitterbahn.

About 2 mins down the road/ 1/2 a mile away, can see it out my bedroom window. I'm sure you've all seen the pictures by now

You live next to worst park I can ever imagine Edge.

Mine is Kennywood. I live about an hour and 15 minutes out of Pittsburgh.

If I REALLY wanted to get technical, my home park would be Waldameer, as I only live a little under an hour from Erie, but I don't go to Waldameer as much as Kennywood, and Kennywood is cooler and more fun!!!!

Hey, at least it's better than Fantasy Island, Skegness is chav / gypsy country, seriously what kind of people actualy go on holiday there? ...apart from poor people and chavs?

My home park is Thorpe Park Thats about 45 minutes away.

My home park is BGA.

Mine use to be BGW and Kings Dominion were the closet. But now its Six Flags America and Hershey Park.

SFOG - 2.5 hours
Alabama Adventure(Visionland)- 1.5 hours

I go to SFOG way more though.

i grew up in buena park, watching the big "k" light up everynight at knotts. it's how we knew it was TIME TO BE HOME. before camp snoopy there was a laggon across the street, with a BIG awesome playground called "jungle island" still, one of the most amazing playground i've ever seen, very original. .. we went there twice a month at least, and to the park twice a year.i got to ride corkscrew and montezoomas revenge, when they were brand new, and watched them be built.anyone who wants can get a free tour by me... disneyland was 10 minutes away, but very special , maybe once a year, Magic mountain was the biggie, and about 1 hour away. back in those days revolution and collossus ruled the park, and not much else. average wait time in the 80's for log jammer was about 2 hours.

My home park is SFOG, but I have a season pass to Seaworld and Busch Gardens so I also go there a lot also.(I got the season pass by getting stuck on the top of the lift hill on Sheikra for about two hours last summer)
