I have Amd 550mhz processor, video card ATI Radeon VE 32mb.
Nolimitscosster runs fine as long it is not too much structure in the front of me.Frame rate drops down when something happens like that.
According Nolimitscoaster it does not makes any different if Pc has faster microprocessor than 500.
I am thinking to put together Pc with at least 2 giga hertz processor and use same video card( need only 8mb memory according Nolimitscoaster).
Forget Colossus or Terraformed ride, everything is so sluggish.
As long I ride out and back , it is working fine.
Anyone ?Anyone ? Anything to say about it?

the problem lies in your video card. You should buy a better video card to get higher frame rates, the 550 mhz is ok

yeah but 128meg graphic cards are expensive, buy a reasonable 64meg card and you'll be fine. If you've got the money then by all means buy the 128meg.

Something along the lines of a GeForce MX 400 64mb or better would do the trick.

Yea I think so too, i got a GeForce 2 32mb and a pentirum 4 1700mhz and it runs at 60 fps. Only big support structures make it drop. I actually have problems with almost every new game because of that video card. They all do run, but they only run nice on low graphic quality.

I have an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro and an AMD Athlon 1.35GHz processer with 512 MB of RAM, and I run NL at 90-100 fps usually. I think its because since my motherboard is an MSI 8X, and my video card is an 8X it makes NL run fast [pshades]

I currently have a NVidia TNT Vanta but I ordered NVidia GeForce 4 Ti 4200[:D][:D]. As you can see I'm excited about it. In answer to your question: go to the site or e-mail Ole Lange and it/he will tell you its all in the video card. I bought that specific card because Ole Lange himself uses it. I got it for the very low price of $75. That is what I believe to be the least expensive GF4 Ti ever. I got it at newegg.com. PM me if you want a direct link.

And your processor is fine, as he mentions in that "NL On German TV!" video, he says that its not important to have an extremly good system. Its really only about the video card.

My computer is deathly slow. I have troubles running everything above 20 fps. The FPS will drop if the trains moving at high speeds. My graphics card is an Nvidia TNT with a pentium 3. I hate it, and I am to poor to buy upgrades.$75 dollars is even to much for me.

Buy a GeForce4 MX (xxx). They're not too expensive and it won't run deathly slow but not the best.

I had a TNT2 Vanta and it ran almost as slow. You also might wanna try a little RAM. Not too much because sometimes it can be expensive. If you have money problems you might wann get rid of some things you don't want anymore and sell them. I do it all the time.
