Just got back from Drayton Manor. It wasn't a very successful meet-up in terms of the amount of attendees, it being just me and Gazag [lol], but it was most certainly a successful day! The park was quite emtpy and relatively chav free, so as you can imagine, we got on quite a few rides... ok let me rephrase that.... we got on the same rides, quite a few times [lol]. Not much of any real greatness at Drayton manor is there? haha.

Shockwave - 7.5/10

First thing we did was ride Shockwave, as the queue for G Force hadn't yet opened. I really quite like this ride, despite it being the laziest design of a layout, EVER! [lol]. It's still a very fun coaster, apart from when it knacks your bollocks on that crappy bar thing that is between your legs. I think that europe would be better off with more stand-up coasters, because they certainly are quite fun, even with a simple layout! We managed to get on this ride 5 times during the course of the day, including 2 POV runs and, then very last run of the day, which we only just about made, as we walked through the entrance to it, the woman was just about to start locking it, and when we got into the station, the ride ops had just locked the restraints and stuff, so they had to be unlocked, just for us [:)] haha.

G Force - 5/10

While this ride is something different and it looks quite funky, it really does not deliver any kind of thrill (other than the prelift section, which is clearly the best part of the ride!) There is no real G Force, which makes the name of the ride, extremely ironic. There is no real speed or even a sense of speed, it was quite a shakey ride, as in, not very well built and it jerked at the point where every piece of banked track joined the next piece of track. Not really a very good ride at all, I far prefer the pinfari looped that it has replaced [:(]. We went on this ride 3 times, Gazag didn't attempt a POV on it, we were going to do one towards the end of the day, and ended up completley forgetting about it [:D][lol]

None of the other rides we went on are really worth mentioning, apart from Maelstrom, I really do like that ride, it would be a welcome addition to any park as far as I'm concerned, we ended up going on that 3 times by the end of the day.

The zoo was pretty cool I guess, with all the monkeys and junk, a lot of the animals looked a little distressed I thought though...

I think this ride would be a little more exciting if they actually ran it with the track like this...

If that isn't the weirdest chainlift and first drop you've ever seen, I don't know what is!

The back of gazag's head, always a good picture [:)]

You wouldn't see this in America, there would be netting and fencing everwhere! but here, you can walk up and touch the underside of the spine [:)] always pleasurable!

The waterfall on the left looks like hair [confused]

Airtime! the li'l buffalo coaster, goes over that hill at like 3mph! which gives an infinite amount more airtime than that hill on G Force! [lol]

Just incase you'd forgotten what it looked like...

Exactly how many photos of this ride did I take!?

At this point, money was falling from the sky, I can't for the life of me figure out why [confused]

This is actually a photo of Shockwave, and G Force just happened to get in the way, so it doesn't count! [lol]

Anyway, that's me done, you can all go back to your lives now [:D]

Aye, we rode pandemonium and Storm Force. We got pretty much soaked through on Storm Force, I think that would be a fantastic ride in the summer, not just yet though, even though the weather was nice yesterday, was mild and the sun was trying to come out, trying. Wasn't quite as wet as "taidal werv" at TP though, I've only ridden that once, and the only other time I will ride it, is if it's the hottest day of the year! [lol]
