I have nothing at all to do today and woke up with a throat that feels like sandpaper, so I thought I would throw a random trip report together.

My friends and I decided to have the first 'group' bbq of the season. Last minute changes left a few people out and a sudden change in location, but it was a fun day. Lots of beer, delicious venison, chicken, beer and more food.

Now onto the pictures....

Image
I volunteered to make a bowl of potato salad for the bbq.

Image
lots of celery

Image
10-11 pounds of potato salad. [shocked]

Image
The fridge is ready.

Image
I decided to start the afternoon off with a cold Heineken.

Image
Next up was a Faxe Amber. Mmmm

Image
After that was a Creemore Springs Premium Lager, awesome beer.

Image
Not sure what he is taking a picture of...

Now that the friends are here and the beer has been poured, it is time to start off the bbq with some tasty jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese. yummy

Image
With the jalapenos I decided to have a Sleeman's Fine Porter, from the case I purchased the other night.

Image
After the jalapenos were all gobbled up, we threw on the main course. Lots of venison and some chicken.

Image
A ton of onions frying up for dinner as well.

Image
While dinner cooked I had a Innis & Gunn. Very tasty.

Image
Finally, its time to chow down!

Image
My choice of drink to have with dinner. Very sweet.

Image
omg that was good!

Image
For dessert we all had coffee and Baileys.

Image
It started to get a little chilly out side so we went and watched some hockey and Euro Trip.

Image
Last drink of the night was a Faxe FestBock.

And that was my Saturday afternoon. I can't wait for the next bbq, the food lineup is going to be chicken and steak monster fajitas and stuffed bell peppers. Image And hopefully some new beer flavours, if I can find a good beer store. I've tried nearly every beer in the beer and liquor stores in my town, it sucks having government run stores. Image

Not really, only a few beers per person. We also started the bbq/get together at around 1:30 in the afternoon and went to bed at around 11 or 12 at night.
