Aww... My final day in an amusement park before going home again [:(] I wanna stay! Attractionnes and warner rulez! [pshades]

The day started as always, getting up, eating breakfast. Had a nice chat with some irishman today. Was fun to hear all those travelstories from him [:)]

Image
When we looked outside we saw that it was raining all morning. We were really like: "Let's hope it doesn't rain at Parque Warner"

Because we did check-in our flight before leaving we were a little too late for the first train. To parque warner. So eventually we'd had to wait about 15 min on atocha station before the next train left. (Yes, it took about 20 min before we'd finally had our tickets.)
Because the train from pino to parque de ocio only rides once every hour we'd had to wait 30 minutes in the cold on pinto. [:(] That's what you'd get when your too late.
Eventually the train arrived and we were on our way to parque warner to arrive one hour later as expected.

Image
On the train to parque warner! ^_^

At the park we'd had to trade in our tickets we've bought at the train station. On that way, you'd get the train for free [:)] But the trading went also longer then expected. The ticket machine broke down... So we'd had to wait about 10 min before they got the machine fixed again [lol] After that stuff, we'd got our tickets and went in. On the photo with the looney tunes [:D]

Image
Yaay... Us with daffy... Also look at the girl in the christmas outfit [:D] hehe [pshades]

Then we passed by the closed GIB, stunt fall. Last year it didn't ran. Same was for this year, I heard it never runs during the winter periods. So that means I gotta go back again around october [lol]
We continued our walk to superman. We still haven't seen it running. Expecting that it was soo quiet, that there was nobody yet riding it. But shamely it was broken for about all day... It opened again around 17:30... So we've at least ridden it for about 1.5 hours non-stop [lol]
Because superman was closed, up to batman. There we met a nice English fella: Chris. And ECC member and probably now a future member from this site [lol] After having ridden batman front seat non-stop for about an hour we left riding something different. [lol] Damn, it was quiet in the park!
On to the worst wooden coaster ever build: Coaster-express...

Image
My first experience was terrible, my last year experience was better. But now it was damn worse again! We've laughed eventually of how terrible this coaster was [lol]

After a hell ride on the woodie we continued browsing the park. First check out superman again with hope that it was already opened but that wasn't the case. A few more rides on batman and then off to the tower ride. During the rides on batman we saw that they were welding on the immelman of superman. So that's why it was closed!

Image
Quiet eh? The 2 guys in the photo are staff from the park [lol]

Image
Us on the tower ride, at the time we've rode it, it ran on freefall mode. Getting to the top went quicker than actually going down... [lol]

Image
Again back to superman checking out if it opened... Yes, i know... We are addicted! But superman is the 2nd best ride in the park so yeah...

Image
Walking past batman we saw it running! Look! It ran for just 1 guy! It's sitting frontseat on the left [lol][lol]

After having ridden the batman simulator there we also went to looney tunes land. Ride the kiddy there... Always fun to be the only one in a kiddie coaster [lol] And went on a picture with tom and willi e coyote... Best part was, that willi E actually reconized the site i have on my bag. [lol][lol] I have those themepark.nl stickers on my bag and he saw them [lol] Too awesome... But the very best part was, that he tried to message it to the guider to say it to us, but the problem was... She couldn't speak English and he could! [lol][lol] Eventually he told it personally to me... lol!

Image
Yay, on the photo with tom and willi E.

After all the fun we've done the scooby darkride there... I got a nice score of 1140... [:D] with 800+ being superb... [lol]
Then we checked out if we could see stunt fall from a closer look. We found out that actually some road was broken open and some groundwork was happening next to it. Also a huge piece of wall that used to be standing there was also gone. New ride? Or just a new square next to stunt fall... We'll see next year [lol]

Image
The groundwork next to stuntfall

Image
Stuntfall itself being closed [:(][V][:(]

After watching all that and photographing stunt fall we'd continued our walk again heading superman. On our way we've done also a ride on the madhouse: Hotel brujlaa, or something like that... [lol]

Image
Continueing our walk towards superman, notice the crowd... [lol]

Image
Hotel Brusomething onride... [:D]

After the mad house we went to superman, we saw people walking into the entrance... Is it really open again? Coming closer, no staff to see... Yes? Really... Walking in the queue... Damn yeah! It's open! Very first ride frontseat! [:)]

Image
OMG! YES! Chuff YEAH! It's open!

Image
The train first doing a test run. I love the floorless system!

From this point we'd actually have only ridden superman non-stop. About halfway we've missed one ride, just to walk around and put the cam in my pocket for some onride shots. Too bad they all kinda failed miserably... [lol] Yeah, it was getting dark so... [lol]

Image
The only proper onride shot... [lol]

After having ridden it a few times missing another ride to trade e-mails with chris and putting my cam away again. Chris left about a half hour before park closure. So i've shot a few more pictures with the train on the track... Don't mind the dusty windows. This is probably the clearest shot i can get [lol]

Image
Still a nice shot imo

Then the best thing happened what probably every coasterfreak would love. The operator suddenly gave me permission to shoot 1 onride video from Superman. But, i had to promise 1 thing: I'm not allowed to put the video on youtube... [lol] Sure, no problem... There's still google video, here, metacafe... [lol][lol][lol]

Seated frontseat, me in the front... Mom in the back, and we're off [:)] A full onride from station to station. Including POV shot from the dropping of the floor and rising of the floor [lol]

After the ride I thanked the operator and went to the back again... Backseat is damn better... Love the airtime on the full first drop!
Then the last ride came and we'd had to leave again. A quick picture backwards over the brakesection from superman and then heading off to the exit... Aww... I wanna go again tomorrow... [lol]

Image
The picture taken over the brakesection. Something you don't see very often [:)]

After this, i've only got some evening photo's from the rides and streets. In the evening the park looks really beautyfull... Too bad it closes at 7pm.

Image
Entrance Superman la attraction de acero

Image
Stunt fall, damn... I Chuffin' love that ride but why is it closed during the winters [:(]

Image
The parque warner sign on the tower ride [:)]

Image
Stunt fall one more time but this time from the entrance gate

Image
Look how empty the streets are... [lol]

Image
And finally heading towards the main street, which had some nice lights everywhere

Image
And the entrance area with entrance gate. See you next year parque warner... We love you!

Image
one last wave at stunt fall... Bye!

After all these goodbyes... Heading the train back to our hotel room [:)]

Well, tomorrow I will be flying back home at 16:40 (GTM+1) It was fun in Madrid. I'd really need to get back once more for stunt fall, and then I'm satisfied [:D]

I hope you enjoyed reading all the TR's I've written during my holiday [:)]

It has to be said, Parque Warner is just beautiful. Everything is so detailed and fits perfectly. Also, the lake in the middle just adds that much more to the park. Its too bad I didnt get to ride Stunt Fall when I went there, but Superman is freaking awesome. However, It'll give you quite a headache after quite a few runs....
