Why not hit Pleasureland in the morning and pop over the Blackpool in the afternoon? That's what I would do, Pleasureland is a fairly crappy place and with Blackpool only down the road. Anyway, too far for me to come so I'm not in on this one

weve already done blackpool and the joint ticket for both is pretty costly. plus i bet there would be more than 5 people there as i can only fit 5 in to my car.

Its not a case of just nipping across to Blackpool anyway, it is quite some-distance. They was thinking about doing a Hovercraft serive across the bay to Blackpool from Southport but it got chucked away[:(]

blackpool is acually 49 miles away and pleasureland dosent open till 11:00am so there wont be enough time to do both i the day anyway.

I e-mailed Pleasureland explaining my dis-pleasement for the parks lack of rides. This was his reply.

"Hi, thanks for your feedback. I appreciate your concerns about the lack of new rides and would like to point out that the main reason for this is because of the amount of land available for Pleasureland to build onto. We have had to remove some of the less popular, or less reliable rides in order to make way for some newer and hopefully more exciting rides. As I'm sure you can understand there is a lot of factors behind the scenes that are affecting the park's growth which is why our development has appeared to be slower than normal. Although I am glad to announce that we have overcome most of these factors and this year alone we have introduced 3 new attractions (i.e. the Chair-o-Planes, Big Wheel and Paintballing Arena)!!!

As for the future of Pleasureland it is starting to look quite promising once more as we now have zoo as you mentioned. There is a lot of work to be done before we will actually be able to move into the area, but work has already started and there are huge plans centred around this section which will undoubtidly take Pleasureland to the next level!

I hope this satisfies your curiosity. I'm sure you appreciate that I cannot go into great detail about our planned development until nearer the time.

last trip was set on a bank holiday so it was moved now this one is on englands first would cup match, we meet at 10:30 am and the mach kicks off at 2:00pm.

so ill leave it down to you, shall we leave it as it is, move it to another date or leave it as it is and at 2:00pm find somewhere to wach it and then carry on?

If it was up to me, which its really not. I would leave it as it is.
We can easily do it all before 2:00 pm i assume.
And it will be awesomely fun watching it together, if we all come in our England tops, it could be a celebration of Coasters+Footy in one day.

Yeah the park may be a little busy'er. But no que has ever peaked 30 minutes at Pleasureland. And ive been there way over 50 times.
