Im guessing that this week has been pretty stressful for alot of people on this site. Yep, Monday, May 1st was decision time for which college you wanted to attend. After months of being sure, I ended up changing my mind from going to Long Beach as a Theme Park Engineer (?) to now going to Cal Poly San Luis Obisbo as a Civil Engineer. Im pretty happy and relieved now that it is over and with the choice i made.
Just woundering if anyone else is going through the college process, and wanting to see where people are ending up going.

I am heading off to "Central Penn College" or "CPC", with a major in business.

Haha yea no need to worry about anything yet. That is the reason i didnt choose that Theme Park Engineer major, i just dont think that there would be many options from there.

actually you should begin looking for a college since your freshman year. Do all the research for your desired major and research the programs those schools have for such major. Some schools are more specialized for certain major while others will carry the major but not have faculty that has real world experience in the field or are limited in ultra specific topics. [:)] Hence it has taken me sooo long to get on the right course in college.

ah yea. I'm comin from a family where I'm the youngest and both my brother and sister have already gone through the whole process of lookin at colleges, one of em just this year.

I mean I realize location isn't the most important thing and shouldn't be the sole reason you decide on a college, but I'm findin out this year that I hate goin to school in the city, especially when its cold. I dunno why, but it seems to affect my grades and stuff, just cause its so depressing sometimes.

If weather makes you depressed enough to make the grades then you have a bigger problem than deciding where to go...

not really. I guess I should've said it affects more my mood than my grades. I'm not worried bout it or anything though, its more of a mental thing I need to work around.
