I agree with Ten 13, this is some kind of huge conspiracy going on here and we all know Bush is behind it all

Just got a notice to hand over all records that pertain to edge and cjd, maybe you stumbled across the new head of homeland security and his hide out, a piece of Intamin track at CP [lol]

I got off work early today, so I am going out to the park with my camera as I speak. I'll take some pics of the construction area, different perspectives on the tarp, and maybe even a few coaster shots.

unfortunately, the outline of the coaster track is not visible under the tarp today. The wind's shifted back to the west, so the Intamin outline is hidden again. There are plenty of shapes showing, though.

BTW, the track is 4-tube, not three. And it's really big 4-tube...

Didn't Dick Kinzel, (Head of Cedar Point), say he was going out with a BANG! It just seems to me that a water coaster wouldn't exactly be a bang. Inversion record breaker sounds more likely to me.

So why not?

That is acutally their floorless rocket concept. With the floorless seats adjacent to the track a la X. As far as the released drawings it isn't flying.

cjd, how many pieces of track do u estimate are under the tarp? Or is there more than one tarp? This may help everyone in trying to figure this out. I think this topic is great because its kinda like a mystery but it is interesting. Lets keep this going for a while.

I think there could be quite a few pieces of track under that one tarp. Depending on size i'd bet up to 10 are under there. Plus that's just one pic, who's to say there aren't more tarp covered stacks of track elsewhere back there?

I think e-man is on to something... [:p]

E: On a more serious note, If it is a AquaTraxz, It'll be interesting to see what CP does with for a few reasons..

1: Without proper theming, I predict it will be un-eventfull, the only reason Atlantis Adventure has such a long ride time is that it's part dark-ride part coaster...

2: The lack of information and pictures of AA makes me think it has a very low capacity due to the one car train operation...

3: Theming isn't CP's thing, I don't doubt that they can theme it amazing if they want...

Oh, and from information I've read about AA, these AquaTrackxz Seem to be un-reliable...

Anyway, here's what I have on a possible layout...
http://img311.imageshack.us/img311/1536/33269mq.jpg

I think it'll use WWL's station. It will launch into an airtime hill(possible), Then do a switchback thingy into a turn over the water(close to the water), then another switchback/carousel thingy into the ground[:p]... Then a water spalsh is where that giant pit is, then into an turn(possibly over-banked)...

That's all I got.

That sounds more like their Ball Coaster.

I don't know, but I hope it doesn't launch. Not sure about you guys but for me one trip on TTD is more than enough of a launch for one CP visit [launch]
