By the way, another load of coaster parts arrived at the Breakers Express area yesterday... which is where that picture came from. I didn't catch it because I was at work, but it's there.

Yep, track is arriving more rapidly now. It seems management really wants everyone to know what it is without actually telling you. Supposedly there is track at different locations throughout the park.

I'm not thinking Aquatrax is a possibility anymore...I'm hoping for an inversion breaker.

Eh, If you look at the first two signs you could conclude it rules out an inversion breaker though. The first 2 signs said were going in a new direction and back up bronco, leading me to believe that this ride will feature a backwards section if not the whole ride being backwards. Or CP could just be messing with us by posting the signs, after all they are publicity whores.

Rofl, this thread is hilarious. And I don't think that it'll be open before June, probably not even this summer.

EDIT: So from that media, we can only conclude it'll be a coaster that features a three-railed red Intamin coaster. Although like many Intamin's, the rail count changes throughout the circuit depending on the forces and height, ect. The color may even change ... that would be neat.

Whoever said it was opening for June?

Anyways "moving in a new direction" makes me think inversions, because they haven't gone inverted in a decade.

That's defionitely possible. By new direction I had kinda assumed it meant something that would be first-of its kind to CP, but it's feasible that they were merely saying a new direction in regards to recent years.

There is a huge cluster of footers behind the old frontier carousel building, I think it'll be a launch with a brakerun under it.

Oh boy, One week until I get to see it for myself.

so the whole "new direction" thing, could that be like WDW's EE making the reverse changes at 2 points in the ride have any merit to this even though they are 2 different manufacturers??? Or, since the signs at the construction site refer to horses and such, maybe a rebirth of the Steeplechase??

Yes, I'm way off the page, but those pics of the pipes look like the tube for an Intamin Aquatrax!

I highly doubt its an aquatrax....That would require alot of theming which CP isnt really into. What is making you guys thing its an aquatrax honestly....I dont see ANY clues, you wanna fill us in on your theories?

An aquatrax really doesn't seem like it would fit CP. To me it feels like that kind of coaster really wouldn't belong in the park. Besides, I was jut looking through those aquatrax pics that were posted through the RCDB link and all I saw were 2 and 4 tube track, not 3 tube as reportedly seen laying around CP.

Um, where you looking at the same coaster as us? Lookie here, a mess of 3 tube track:

http://www.rcdb.com/ig1646.htm?picture=6

I think all those tubes and supports could possibly be for a station. I personally am hoping for a looper like I've said numerous times.

Ok, I was wrong. Though I still don't think an aquatrax coaster would really fit in there. Personal preference maybe, but yeah i'll second you jakizle that a looper would be great.

I'm actually Startign to think a aquatrax dosen't need a lot of themeing, as long it's a good ride...

after looking through those pics, i really dont think it will be an aquatrax. There's so much theming, and i dont think CP is going to do theming for their new coaster.

I am personally hoping for a looper as well as jakizle... but i guess we have to sit and wait to find out what this turns out to be.
