Cedar Fair to buy Paramount parks

Cedar Fair is buying all 5 Paramount parks.

wooooooooo! this makes me so happy, I don't know why! Cedar fair will now own all of the major parks in ohio...wow I'm excited

I'm not completely sure weather or not this was a good move on CF's part. But here are definately the plusses

Access to Viacom Characters more than likely (this will enable CF to market its parks as more than just really good amusement parks, sort of like what Six Flags is doing.
Better competition between Six Flags in California area.[:D] So now CF will have Knotts to compete against SFMM (sorta... not really) and PGA to compete against SFMW.
Not to mention they will now own all of the major ohio amusement park market.

I haven't been paying much attention to the Paramount sale, but this definiatly came as a surprise.Not sure how smart this was for cedar fair though. I feel they may be growing a bit too fast. But we'll see.
