I always thought Millie would be a bit painful in the rain, and this picture I saw posted on rec.rollercoaster supports my theory.

Why would you ride in conditions that result in faces that look like that.[:D]

I just noticed the death looking guy on the top left. He looks like he has a mask or something on. Maybe this is what hell for coaster enthusiasts will look like.[devilish]

I rode Dueling Dragons Fire and Ice in the rain, it stung, but it wasn't that bad.

I rode Alpie in the rain twice. I couldn't open my eyes during it.

Rode Big Thunder Mountain at Disney Paris while it was raining. Wasn't too bad as that coaster isn't all that fast.

I'm one of the poor souls that has been on Top Thrill Dragster in the rain. If you think Millie hurts when it's raining, try getting pelted by rain at the speed of a category 3 hurricane...

Why would they even have a coaster open during the rain? That seems pretty dangerous. But, lol, that guy on the right is pretty funny.

I'm a wimp I guess. I'll stick to riding coasters on a nice, sunny day. [lol]

They probably did it for the sole purpose of creating that HILARIOUS photograph, after which they promptly closed the ride.

I went on Raging Bull front seat at least two times in the rain, and I don't remember it hurting, just being really cold. Also, I when I went on MF it was around dusk and I got bugs all over me which did hurt, we were in the second seat though, so the people in front of us were way worse.

Its a known fact that trains can run faster in the rain, so yes it can be quite dangerous PrincessG.
When i was at flamingo-land. Magnum Force was running 3 mph faster. And it hurt so much!!!

didn't get that experience when i was there. it did rain on us while riding mean streak. then they held us in the brakes before the station because they didn't want to release an empty train, leaving us sitting there getting soaked.

and the bugs at dusk are a big problem at cedar point. front seat on top thrill dragster at sunsnet, with all the bright lights along the track, makes for quite a ride with gnats crushing on your face and clothing like bugs on a windshield. ugh...

When I went to Cedar Point for the first time on the Friday and Saturday before Memorial Day weekend this year, it was pouring down at different parts of the day. It rained early in the morning, stopped, and came back later in the day. I was on front row of Wicked Twister in the rain and it hurt so bad I was about to close my eyes lol. I also got on Magnum XL-200 in the rain but it stopped when we got on.[:D]

I remember been on PMBO in the rain, worst part was we were going against the rain, on the fastest section of the ride. My photo was funny, you could see me with me hood over my face [lol]

I must just be a whimp [lol]
