Man, the theming looks awesome. On the left side around the 0g, immelwoman, and cork, theres kinda a jungle theme. Then around the rest of the ride, it's self explanatory. Man, this beast opens in just 5 days.

And I'll be there in 7 days! Have you noticed the Head in the rocks around the Immelwoman? And the snakes everywhere? [^][^]

Everytime i see this coaster it looks even more stunning. Im jealous of not living near it, and i already have nemmy. I cant imagine how you guys in the US feel, still not having one of these awesome terrain Inverts. Although i guess you beat Europe in most other categories so i will shut up. lol.

The scenery is absolutely breataking IMO and i bet it looks amazing when you are there amongst it all. [:)]

Anyways, the theming looks as kick butt as we thought it would be. I especially like the station.

If you are talking about the very cute blonde German girls...yea, I agree. But arent all german girls like that? My girlfriends mom took one in for a exchange student and she was the same way but WAYY too skinny. Cute girl. But those girls actually have shape :P

EDIT I see. Thats a guy. Geez.

Themeing is ok, still way too over-cluttered.

Although the theeming is very detailed, I can't help but think it looks more like an market place and not a jungle.

Seems like everybody describes Black Mamba as being close to perfect, except some British people. Maybe because it rivals 'their' Nemesis? Well, Nemesis was my favourite coaster up to now, but it looks like Black Mamba gives it a run for his money. But hey, both coasters have their good points; Nemesis is build on a hilly terrain, and can't go over the treetops, so the layout HAS to be unique.
As Black Mamba isn't build on a hilly terrain, Phantasialand could choose the best element sequencing, Talon's (Loop, 0-G, Immelman). And afterwards, the terrain was build to fit the coaster. PHL could build "as high as they want", so BM has a better feeling of height than Nemmy..
The ride itself is shorter than its British brother/sister, but more intense. While Nemesis has some short breaks, like the turn between 0-G and loop, and the next turn, Black Mamba will never slow down until the final brakes.

The theming looks like a market place? Nice market places you have there in the UK! The theming on this ride really beats anything else in Europe, even the most beatiful market places.. [sillyme]

Call me a Black Mamba lover, but not a Nemesis-hater, I still like that ride a hell of a lot.

(and pls, stop calling Black Mamba's environment a damn jungle.. It's just an african village, and yes, there ARE such high buildings in those villages)

Lmao!!! [lol].
And Mikado, that break... as you call it, has to be the most intense break i have experianced, i dont know about you, a break [lol].
Your thrown up the side of a cliff, over a blood waterfall. Nearly thrashing your feet on the rocks. Not entirely a 'break' is it.
The only break on Nemesis has to be the Break run[lol].

Mehhh and as you say Mikado, maybe we are dissing Black Mamba abit in Bias, but why wouldnt we???.
For me Nemesis will always be intense. Even after at least 60 goes. The themeing is damn right freaky on Nemesis, and it has made kids cry before haha!, Seriously.

You see, as im ripping up Nemesis's circuit, you hear people screaming arggh we're going to die!!!. And 'my feet have come off.'
The only thing i will be saying on Black Mamba is "Half a pound of Bananas please" [lol].

So yea, i assume Nemesis will own Black Mamba for intensity.

Nemesis = Death pit
Black Mamba = Market

Tis simple if you ask me!

Opening day Pics!!!!!

http://www.lifthill.net/gallery/pages/phantasialand8.php

The ride is awesome, the village is awesome the station is even more awesome!!!!

BTW: Black Mamba won't make little children cry because you are not allowed to ride it unless you are taller then 1.40m and older then 14 years. Just because it is so intinse [8D]
