?? I dont quite get what carly means.

Anyway, I will get the Wii at launch(Hopefully), and I may end up playing it more than any other console I own, and I own several, just because of its unique and innovative style of gaming. Also because of the downloadable games from the past 20 years, and its affordability.

I'm planing on getting all 3 systems so that any game that comes out I can get, and any game that's already out I can play wihout needing to buy another system.

I'm glad that the price is below $250 for the Wii, I heard someware that it was going to be between $179-$199.

yea people were suspecting that, but ya know, I can't complain about a >$250 price tag because its still really cheap for a next gen system

I would buy the Wii at $250, but I would be dissapointed if it drops in for that price for the system alone. The performance of the system is not THAT much better than the Gamecube. While the Nintendo is getting a profit from the $99 Gamecube, I don't think the Wii should be that Expensive. I understand that it has a built in Wi-fi thing, but still, you can find those for like 50 bucks. If Nintendo wants to reach out to non-gamers, $250 is too much. A non-gamer would be much less likely to turn away from a $199 price than a $249 price. I can understand the Wii selling for $200, just for the fact that it is new, but if you just get the system and a controller for $250, I think thats a bit much for 5 year old tech. Now if that $250 includes Wii Sports and 2 contollers, then thats a totally different story.
