Me either Real, I still don't see how it would be difficult to detect bumps and such ... not that that would be a huge problem anyway since pure handbuilding is almost out the door anyway. But maybe it'd take some practice getting used to editing the coaster in the "inverted" position, but you'd surely become familiar with it, just like one who's only built sit-down coasters would become familiar with editing inverted coasters.

And if this update comes with the B&M flyers (which I dont think are nearly as complicated as the Vekomas) we are in business. I will have a hard time using these because the track and trains are so ugly but the option is there.

I think thats my biggest problem with the vekoma flyers... that and you start on your back and I can't be arsed to flip the train over... and then back at the end.[lol]

Ive never seen or had a problem with that. Its all the same.

how often are you ever editing inverted sections on any other coaster that are longer than just a loop or a zero g[;)]

It wouldnt be hard. You could easily just not use rel-roll and then flip it on when you are done. That seems like a much easier thing to do than to impliment some sort of flip.

All hed have to do is flip the horizon which means its just your brain not adapting to the illusion. Just get over that you are inverted :P

Tatsu owns all flyers though. Dont compare the Vekoma Flyers to the SUF clones...Tatsu is the new comparison.

Yeah, I second that. Tatsu is a monster, and the Pretzel loop or anything on that ride is nothing to sneeze at.

I am so eager and excited with this update! I am wondering though, is the Vekoma flyer just ONE of the three top secret photos, or were they ALL Vekoma flyer?

I just saw this video from a link on Screamscape.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfPbmQ3J4FQ

It shows an NL rendering of what might be PortAventura's new intamin 'wingrider' design. Anyone else think we might be seeing this in the next update?

Edit: I just noticed something else. The video also includes the target view Ole mentioned in one of the updates, where the camera tracks the train. This is looking even more likely for 1.6.

I doubt we will see it. Its not really that great a train IMO and it just seems rather one-offish as said before.

^ motorbike isn't that hard to come up with an idea for, though. I'm surprised we haven't seen more of them being uploaded. But for wingwalker, I just could not see anyone using it... not to mention the trains are ugly.
