There a good tutorial on NLDC: http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/tutorialid-1.html

What you forget is to color the Main Track black [:)]

You need to colour the spine (Main track color) black. That way it will keep the banking you specify on the unput track. Otherwise it will retain the natural banking for a straight piece of track, which is 0.

Have you coloured the rails you are banking black? When you are force banking segments, make sure they are individually coloured black, and then the AHG will know you want to keep it as a barrel roll, rather than it deleting all lats by making it flat!

EDIT: wow, 3 of us answered at the same time YAY [:p] we should get lives [:(]

The rail colour specifies the filter, not force the banking.

Are you sure it is pure black? That's the most likely solution I can think of. And unless you're using red on the rails to set the filter, make them and the ties white. They could be confusing it for some reason.

I had the similar problem . . i think. . .when i heartlined i made the whole roll black instead of just the rails. . .so today when i was in church i was thinking about it (lol) and thought maybe the spine rails and ties shouldnt all be black because i thought i remembered seeing it on a tutorial or something. So i put the rails black with everythign else white and my roll came out awesome :D

Is the output track 1.1m (or whatever the heartrline is) lower than the input? Because if that's the case, we at least know that the AHG is heartlining it, but at some point all of the banking is removed.

That's a weird problem..
-You say everything is black, but only the Main Track Color should be black. -Are you sure it's pure black? (*NL - bij het kleuren kiezen moet er achter Rood Groen en Blauw 0 staan)
-Did you use relative rolling or continuous rolling settings like on the NLDC Tutorial?

If it still doesn't work, you can always send me the track and see if I can heartline it [:)]

-everything WAS black, now only the main track is pure black RGB=0,0,0
-No rel roll, but con roll on evey node

Just make the main track black, everything else pure white. And make sure you have version 1.2.

I'm just trying to work out if the AHG is actually heartlining it but removing the banking, or just doing nothing and adding more segments.

No re-roll? Because when I do a heartline roll, i use rel-roll and it works fine. Im not sure if thats the case with this, but I never did it any other way.

Settings wich I always use:
4 segments, 5 nodes
1st node- 0 banking, con roll
2nd node- 90 banking, con roll
3rd node- 180 banking, con roll
4th node- 90 banking, con roll + rell roll
5th node- 0 banking, con roll

You if you send your track to me it would be easier to find out what the problem is.. [:)]

Worked fine for me. Did you check individual colors?

It can't be a problem with the track, I just got it heartlined without any problems. Maybe there's something wrong with your AHG, try downloading a new one.

Are you using enough segments in the output track?
