The History of WWS

Wow, this site has been around longer than i ever thought, since, 2001 or 2002. and has grown to now over 14,000 members, it is just amazing with the track exchange filled with over 605 pages full of tracks, with probly more since it seems like some have been lost. I currently have been here for 2 years this september, and it seems like not much has changed, but when i first signed up it seemed like the layout was a little more different, than now like the log on. Also there have been a lot of changes with the members to, if you look at the first forums, their are very few same members, and we have seen a Site Admin leave, who was G Force Addict, who is now retired. It is just amazing to see how things have changed like Canadmos has changed his user name, which the old one i forgot which has been bothering me, i can't remeber what it was. The tracks back then in 2002, 2003, were also a lot more well better, more original IMO and now people (like me) just slap a coaster together in an hour and think that it will be a ten rate, but ends up only getting a 6 if they are lucky.

Well if there are any old images anyone has of WWS when the layout was different, please upload them, i would like to see the stages of the site through the ages.

So October 1st, 2004 was when we got this current layout, which is by far the best of all of them.

I'd remember the layout from wws april 2003 But everything before that is just a huge fade for me...

I remember the very first layout WWS.Com had, with the black skin. I was more of a coastergames.net-er back then though, so rarely visited the site. Who here remembers Weng?

I have been here for 2years and 1 month I remember when hyyyper was annoying... oh wait he still is!

I remember Weng, he died in a plane crash.

Wasn't it an helicopter crash? [:D] And a while after it he was alive and it was faked

I've been here since October, and I must say, I was pretty noobish.

I've been here since august of 04 and the only thing i can remember about an old layout is that at the top there used to be an animated intamin giga coaster with lightning and such.

ive been on here since 01/15/2004. I cant remember the old layout, but i remember the hyper coaster with lightning in the top left corner, it was annoying and it made the occasional lightning sound.
