You said something like "save your points" for this summer draft... Is there gonna be sort of an auction for certain picks? Or what did you mean by that?

Nope, it was a tie between between you and RRollergod. R comes before S so RRollergod goes first. You really have the better spot, he will be bumped to last next round leaving you in the top two picking spots for two rounds.

Allrighty, the draft is set to go! The ordered list is posted on the drafts page. If you see any mathmatical errors, just say so. Say so, don't scream so...

www.coastercravers.com/wws06draft.php

First up is RRollergod. He has until 06/13/06 at 10:36pm to pick.

Chris PMed me that it was my turn and I was like what already? Then I realized it was for this draft, not the NL one.

Anyways, right where I wanted to be. Get three good picks in. Too bad Mr homie up there already took Voyage. So I'll go ahead and secure a solid woodie. How about Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce.

I'll take Goliath at SFOG - http://www.rcdb.com/id3290.htm.

From what I've read, Goliath seems to be the 2nd best coaster of 2006. It has a fast and furious layout and proved many of us wrong, including me. wWhen I first saw it, I didn't think much of it, but from all the incredible reviews its gotten it deserves to be my first pick of the coaster draft.

I like how ALL the picks so far are inversionless airtime hogs...Finally the enthusiast world is getting into the "true" stuff, no just inversiony gimmicks. :)

Hm, I thought everybody would rave about the 2006 rides, but the intamin Megas still seem to be the thing... I still don't know what's about expedition gforce. It's a great ride, but not THAT great... Maybe it's just because I prefer woodies [;)]

I guess I have to continue that trend :)

This ride just opened a few days ago, but it's airtime has said to rival SROS's or possibly be even better. I have been on SROS, and it is pretty insane. I can't even imagine El Toro. With it's 176 degree drop, insane airtime, and blazing speeds, I believe it is a world class ride. So there you go, that's my pick.

El Toro - Six Flags Great Adventure

I was originally going to go for SROS, as I really love that ride, but ofcourse Chris snagged it.

Looking great guys, lots of good picks though I agree with Pad. I'd expext to see the newer rides go quicker.

Can you tell what coaster enthusiasts truely want in a coaster? Haha, parks should read this thread to know what to add next.
