The Group phase of tournaments are sooooo boring no one plays to their potential, ever. I can't wait for the knockout phases, where everyone is playing with 100% of their ability, that's when you really see who the great players are.

E-man, trust me, the MLS is a pile of dogwank, and it is a completely different game, COMPLETELY, listen to someone who has been a football fanatic for as long as they can remember and has had a season ticket for years (i.e. me). I have sat and watched MLS games here on tv and I have never been so bored in my entire life, it is little wonder to me that Americans have never really had much interest in the game, when most of you only see MLS games and International tournements (if that!), and international tournaments are more like MLS than real football is. If you were to come to England and sit in a ground and watch, say, a champions league game, I guarantee, 100%, that you would be hooked on the sport for life.

edit: actually scratch that, the potential of the Czechs, with players like Pavel Nedved, is FAR higher than that of the Americans, so infact it would be a much higher score to The Czech Republic [:)] like 4-0
