I Screamomatic when I'm with my friends, but I never, ever Scremomatic when I'm a lone rider... even on the most Insane Coaster, it's just who I are.
The only exception is if the other lone rider I'm riding with starts a conversation and we sotra get to know eachother, then maybe I feel confertable Screamomatic-ing.
I also had two girls infront of me when riding Gemini @ CP, the cool thing is that it was just us three riding, and they were like(going around the first turnaround)"you're so quiet", I was like "Yeah well, I'm an enthusiast, I'm used to high thrills". They insisted I Screamomatic-ed, so I did the whole time after that, and it sucked... They liked it so, Mission Accomplished...
I think 'Screamomatic' actually has to do with Girls and a Bed...
I know a really good excuse for when you're doin' it and you get caught...
"What were you doing naked under my bed?""Well,We were talking and playing Monopoly when suddenly we got really cold, so we jumped under the covers, then it got really hot, so we undressed, then we though a ghost was in the room so we started moving around and making noises to scare it away... Were you the ghost?" Works every time... Well once... Okay never.
I don't scream, I laugh. If a coaster really catches me by surprise, I laugh uncontrollably. "X" made me laugh so hard I don't even remember the second half of the ride.
As for what to say when getting caught doing the wild thing in the bed?
"Excuse me, this is a private matter. Unless you plan to strip and join us, GET OUT OF MY ROOM."
That changed last Wednesday at Holiday World, though. On the Voyage, two very unorthodox things happened... One, I couldn't keep my hands up and held on tightly to the grab bar. Two, I was no longer shouting for the sake of happiness, but rather screaming in udder terror. It was that good, and that intense. So now, instead of "not at all", I have to say "hardly".
On any coaster except "The Voyage", my answer is 'not at all'. On "The Voyage", my answer is 'yes, the whole way through'.
I'm definately a "whoa" er. lol... my friend and I were riding Raging Bull and it was really cool because our "whoas" were in synch... we even got compliments from some girls for our yell quality haha. It was funny bc they were lookin' at us at first, so we thought we annoyed them, but they were like no on the contrary you all are the best yellers we've heard today lol. Fun times, fun times.
I'm ussually pretty silent, Maybe some laughing and talking for kicks, to my friends next to me. Nothing has ever made me scream unintentionally untill I rode tatsu. Going into the pretzel I let off such a loud yell...heh, so fun.
Silent is me. I just sit there with my arms up. Every single on-ride photo of me looks identical because it's always the same calm expression, even though I'm excited.
i scream.. i laugh too. mostly because you're allowed to. the laughing part is hard to explain.. to me a rollercoaster is like a practical joke on wheels. it's just so damn human, not primitive mind you, but human to get so much satisfaction out of something soooo impractical , and the fact that so much was put into it tells me that i'm the punch line of the joke ... we all are. it hilarious, i whoop and holler the whole time.. why not.. i paid good money..
and cjd .. i had the same experience when i rode ghost rider for the first time in febuary of 1999.. i was actually startled by how good knott's could build a ride... "it was that good"
very much so and even more on the intense parts. my friends as well. we think my brother is weird because he never screams; he just grips the bar and seems oblivious to the fact he's on a roller coaster.
It depends on the type of coaster....
on my first woodie my head was banging in every direction but thats what woodies are supposed to do.any ways on that woodie wich just happend to be the Georgia Cyclone i couldn't scream because aof my head hiting my sisters and when the ride was over my on-ride-photo my face was blood red.on flying coasters I trie to make up a humming theme song for the ride as i go up the lift and then the pretsle loop i laugh uncontrolably.on my first coaster(rock'nrollercoaster) i was screaming my head off.and thats my scream storie thingy.
Yea, I don't really scream. I just kinda go "whoa" or "yea" on the intense parts or parts that take me by surprise. Holding my hands up or not depends on who I'm riding with. Intamin rides, all the way, there is so much room to hold your hands up and not bother the other rider!
Every second of the ride...it's necessary to compensate production of adrenaline...uh no apart from the lift where I clap my hands...but noone does the same so I always feel like a stupid but I really don't care...
p.s.how can't you scream on KingdaKa?for those who tried it.[;)]
when I was in Japan, I rode on a pirate ship and there was an intense silence except for the "whoosh" as the ship swung back and forth. Finally when my side got all the way up. I stood up and was like "whooooooo!" This was followed by many giggles and whispers and then more silence. Does anyone think this is weird?
Nope but i would love to skin a goat and tie it to your....... OOOO look a plane!!!
Anyway, i don't scream, just laugh and shout random funny words at the people below!! this is also good when you throw things at them. lol Nah!! i cant scream anyway!! **Deepvoice**
