Perhaps the most important question.

When can we have it? ;-)

We are lucky enough someone is taking time to create a utility for free, so let him take his time. You can probably expect it soon, considering he has posted detailed pics. Either way cant wait, looks great!

take the time? We are about 1 year further... Probably expect soon? What about a few years later [lol]

Anyway, this looks all really good and interesting. Tyler/thorazine, are you still working on it?

I think he's still here at the moment, just not posting in the forums. He's uploaded another coaster since he "left" and I think he rated someone's ride. (As Tyler, not Thorazine)

about his coding skills...

he also made a program that could take a track layout (completely flat and 2d) and use its top image and side image to make it 3d and very good actually (his Black Knight coaster http://coastercrazy.com/track_exchange/de ... p?tid=8983)

yeah

he does seem to go off an on but he is on aim sometimes

I know that those things are possible. I've seen him make elements with that tool that are virtually impossible to make with a normal H:SAK, due to the use of certain combinations of vertical and horizontal radii. Either that or he's got Red's YL radius control formula.

That's how he designed a lot of his rides. Centuar, Space Wrangler, Maple Grove Wildcat, Comet Racer, Eruption, Bobcat, Firehawk, and Black Knight, all of them.

"Black Knight is my latest and greatest wooden coaster! Built using a custom-written track building method, I beleive I have come as close as anyone to truely capturing the feel of a wooden coaster. " Straight from the ride description.

Let me put it more simply. His recent rides feature elements that are impossible to make with current elementary formulas. There is no virtually other way in which he could have made those rides, I doubt even with some of the most advanced formulas by redunzelizer.

Hehe, guess what? Me (also & already) did that two or three years ago within the private version of my Purgatorium. Worked out nicely, however I moved on to directly synth'ing the ZX and YL components in one rush since then. [8D]

Just because you're too narrowminded and think it's impossible does not at all mean that it can't be done. You can keep your earth flat however you want to, but don't wonder in case you totaly ridicule yourself with any such statement... [:D]

redunzelizer

P.S. Tyler/Thorazine certainly is capable of doing so too... [:p]

P.S.II That's what I really apprechiate the WWS forums for: neverending entertainment! [:o)]
