Wow, this sucks! How hard is it to take some screenshots and upload them!

You can get as technical as you want, but it's not that hard to do...

Oh well :(

Well, it's pretty hard when you don't have new material to show. Now i'm just guessing he's waiting 20 days to upload it. So around 23th?

^ It's really not hard at all when you compare it to the actual designing of the new update, I agree. The only reason they haven't uploaded something must be because they haven't gotten much done since the last update, I think.

Prove me wrong Ole [;)]

Ok, im not talking about the entire game here, don't blow it out of the water.

I mean im grateful for the fact they even post pics don't get me wrong, but if they cannot stay on a schedual, don't say they will be out every "7" or "10" days.

Oh, and SMer, it really IS NOT hard to go in game, take a screen, add some PS filters to make them "satelite" pictures, and upload to a website. They could do it in a small amount of time.

Even if the case is they do not have much done from last time, show some repeat pics for all I care of previous styles shown, at least it's something... Or at least more close shots of the vekoma with the weird satelite noise all over the picture if texturing is yet to be completed.

He'll do an upddate when he's ready. If you think Ole is retiring off his NL profits, you're nuts. NL is as much of a labor of love for him to code as it is for us to play.

Stop all of the whining and moaning the lack of updates. You all sound like a bunch of cackling ducks screaming about nothing.

We are getting an update and that alone should allow Ole' to take his time. Most of us thought there wouldn't ever be one.

Give Ole' as much time as he needs and stop being so impatient. If I was Ole' and I read these stupid impatient rants, I would purposely take longer just to spite them.[dunno]

wow you're an idiot. if you're THAT thick- what I meant was that he shouldn't be complaining when we get the f'in thing for free and that complaining that if there's no update RIGHT when you think there's gonna be one is probly the most ingrateful thing you could do in a situation like this.

I don't know is this has been mentioned yet, but:

If you look at the FAQ:

Will 4D coasters be implemented in the next update?

The 4D Coaster is on our master list of user requested additions for future versions of the game.

Will Flying Coasters be implemented in the next update?

The Flying Coaster coaster is on our master list of user requested additions for future versions of the game.

and the flyer has already been announced, so does this mean 4-D's are next?

Haha, "In a situation like this".

Oh well, no point to argue with any of you. It was my opinion and I stand by with my comments on how things are going. I think it is wrong to say "7" days and update every 7, then 10, then 12, then 20 days. If it will be inconsistant, they should of never of mentioned the release of new photos every "set" number of days. It's that easy.

I respect Ole and the team fully, its just my opinion on this issue. Live with it.

4D coasters look better on paper than on the computer screen, they would become just as popular as the vekoma motorbikie coaster style.

the piece of the FAQ only states that those coasters types are what the people want, not what he is going to put in the game

I did!! but really, if he is wasting all this time on 4d coasters and the programming of the seat rotating then we probably could have the update alot sooner. sorry ole 4d coasters may have been asked for but it was probably by n00bs!

I would rather Ole concentrate on bigger and more popular designs to be really honest.
But really, 4d coasters are so hard to make. I tried multiple times in HR even with a really simple tool to rotate the seats around a vertex, and still could not do it.
For me a big step forward would to create a dive machine. Alot of people have tried making dive machines which are fantastic. But using a floorless or sit-down looping track style spoils the origionality of it all.
Im really glad on the Vekoma Flying Dutchman update, as not complex rotation needs to be done. Just track up-right or upside down. Which will be quite easy to make in the Editor.

All in all i cant wait for whats in the update, and couldnt care whats in it as it wouldnt affect my love for the game, that is all.

ps- DesignTool, do you have any idea of how much work goes into NL. Obviously not. You say your gratefull, but your the most ungreatful person as far as your views on NL go, really.

I think that seat rotating could be accomplished very easily in NoLimits. Add a different menu with the 4D banking options and all you would do to make the rotation would be to make somthing like a keyframe on a certain section of the track (like how you would place a track-support node) then doubble click it and input the rotation you want from the last "keyframe" to this keyframe.

coasterguy u say you'd use em a lot now... but once you realize how hard it is to make a good one they'll become just another style in the box.

in regards to the B&M dive machine style-
personally, I'd love it. however, if you've been on one, you'll know that they tell the heavier passengers to sit as close to the middle of the coach as possible since the trains are so wide, meaning there's little room for quick maneuvers and lateral forces. I think it would be pretty hard to keep it safe according to the width of the coach.

^ Which dive machine did they do that on?

Being at BGT and riding Shiekra (alot), I never saw this once. Is it a new thing or something they used to do? I never heard of that at all.
