What names do you think are stupid or what names are used to much, post your opinions here! My most hated name is twister and bat flyer.

There is even a ride at blackpool pleasure beach called "roller coaster" I can't belive they couldn't come up with a name!!

Hydra: The Revenge. It is an AMAZING ride, but they could have changed it to either "The Revenge of Hydra", "Hydra's Revenge", or just "Hydra".

I thought that after looking on its layout, but I've read that it was quite disappointingly forceless... Is it not?

omg no!! Hydra is an awesome coaster!

The first drop gives a nice pop of airtime, as does the S-bunny hop and the smaller bunny hop after that.

Even the positive forces are nice on it!

Its really a better coaster than it looks. I was pleasantly suprised when I rode it last summer!

I do agree that it isn't forceful, if you mean positive G's and lateral G's, but it still has some good moments of airtime. Besides, I count EVERY SINGLE ASPECT of a ride if it is to be in my top 5, not merely how forceful it is. Since it has a certiain unique grace to it, unique elements, and being extremely different from all the other B&M's out there is why it is my #3 steel, beating Talon and Millennium Force.

Back on topic... Loop & Cork at Maruyama Kid Land is kind of a weird name, although it is the only Wild Mouse I know of to feature a Loop and a Corkscrew. (It does have Wild Mouse turns, too)

It really doesn't bother me with SFI using the names it does. The name really only effects the theme. Goliath could be called Batman: The Ride and it would make no difference in the ride itself. They paid for the rights, I say use the poop out of them!

I'd kinda agree, why do they call it rita? Why that name? Why not Angela, or any other name. Also i haven't seen an image from Rita there... How does that b*tch look like? Could have been better imo...
