I pick the great spaghetti lim Froot Loop by Kev, which has some very nice twisting turns & helixes with a few fun inversions and airtime moments thrown in at the right places.
I was going to pick this coaster in Round 3, but decided against it, and knew that this or one other ride (im not saying the name) was going to be my last pick. I love this coaster, it is a beautiful modern version of the Revere Beach Cyclone which is one of the most famous coasters in coaster history!
Great pick! screamomatic has until 06/29/2006 : 12:21:39 PM to end this draft!
We won't write a park description in this draft, but what you can do is send me an email with short descriptions (max. two sentences) for each of your picks, focussing on what you find special about the track and what will be its importance in your park. You'll have four days after screamomatic's pick to do so.
In the voting poll, I'll post the link list for each park (I'll just add the final picks to the one Canadmos has made), and add the descriptions that I've recieved. If you don't send anything to me, or do it too late, you'll still be part of the voting, just without descriptions.
I'm leaving for Florida in 15 or so minues, so I don't time to do them now, and I may not get computer time. Hopefully descriptions are put aside and the best collection of coasters wins!
It's a shame you won't be doing another one. I've really enjoyed watching this draft, and I've seen a lot of great coasters from before my time. Too bad it got so slow near the end.
Hey wing-over, glad you enjoyed the draft. Once there are more NL tracks uploaded and even some new track styles, it might get more easy to find enough NL rides to pick. Maybe I'll start another NL draft then, in a year or so, probably with even less rounds. Or anybody else can feel free to do so if I don't. It was still a fun draft to me and I hope some participants aren't annoyed about having missed turns.
Be sure to vote in the end!
Theres loads i can think of, off the top of my head. I tink you should do another one, people just have to spend more time being careful about their picks. Maybe do it at a time when people are less busy, thats all i would say.
^what just annoys me about these old rides that most of the good ones that stay in your memory are ridiculously long. My personal goal for my picks was to create a realistic park setting. But you're right, it was no problem to me to find ten tracks, not even 12 would've been difficult...
Ok, ok, I'll do another one, but there will certainly be a break. Also, the problem is that not all drafters are busy at the same time, so there will always be missed turns. just a bit less would be great! You have the possibility to pm me your picks after all...
Glad to hear your doing a second one. I think you should definitely wait until NL1.6 has been out for a while, so that there have been a collection of good tracks uploaded for the new styles.
