In what way was it undeserved? Portugal's goal was without a doubt a goal, and it came before any controversial cards. And Netherlands never had a goal that was taken away or even a chance taken away from them due to a bad call. And Netherlands was the team that was up a man courtesy of the ref losing control of the game, so I'd hardly say that it was an undeserved win. It was a deserved win for Portugal, and a fair loss for Netherlands, the reality of it is that Portugal was the better team, and they won even with being a man down for just about half of the game.

that was an awesome game, It was really fun to watch all the carnage going on, the beatdowns, the elbowing, the headbutts, the kicking, the crotch kicking etc. it was hilarious to watch

Seriously, the referees in this tournament have been truyl awful! Graham Poll gave one player 3 yellow cards before he finally sent him off, I mean, wtf!?

And they're being far too harsh, instead of giving warnings and just letting the play go on, they're booking players straight away for their first offences, and as a result, most of the games have been extremely slow and boring *yawns* Not to mention all the foreign cunts diving around all over the place pretending they're hurt.. oh yeah, and Joe cole.... cunt.

Ukraine has eliminated Switzerland in the penalties 3-0.
Italy beat out Australia with a score of 1-0.

This Cup has been blown by the refs. They have been just bad and titally inconsistent. 20 cards yesterday in that match, hardly any in both of the matches today. I'm sure the local kids refs could do better

Brasil just owned Ghana with a score of 3-0. I must say it was a fun game to watch [:)] Next up is Spain vs. France in 2 hours time!

The ironic thing is that Ghana was actually dominating for most of the game, they just couldn't find a way to break through the Brazil defense AND get off a good shot. It was definitely one of the better games of the World Cup so far, pretty good reffing aside from the missed offsides and both teams were playing aggressively.

The ref missed two offsides by Brazil in that game. And that whole diving red card was crap. He tripped over himself.


And Ghana did play much better. It didn't help that all their shots were right at the keeper. Brazil could have had a manequin as their goal keeper and still have won
