COBB COUNTY -- A fight inside the Six Flags amusement park may have sparked a shooting just outside the park that left three people wounded.

Police say a gunman inside a car opened fire on a group of people at a MARTA bus stop around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

"One of the guys in the passenger side was doing the shooting," said Troy Griggs, a witness to the attack.

Investigators tell Channel 2 Action News it appears the victims were innocent bystanders who were not involved in the fight inside the park. They are all expected to recover from their wounds.

Witnesses say the fight was between two groups of teens who got into an argument inside the park. One of the groups left promising to shoot and kill the other teens.

You got a source for this article?
CNN and MSNBC do not seen to have any information on it. Matter of fact, even Google does not seem to have any information on this event.
Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all.

Interesting that no major news outlets picked this up ... but let some oscar winning actress have her period and we have charts and analysis depicting the amount of flow and when we can expect it to end. <groan>

Shades of the same thing that happened at Six Flags America awhile back. I was scared to even to to SFA a few months ago. As soon as we went to get gas we saw some dude in a police chase runnin from the cops. And now I'm a little nervous about going back to Disney this year lol

It doesn't seem odd if you ever go to SFOG, all the exits around the park are in the run down ghetto. No offense

true, six flags is westside atlanta. not the nicest area over there. my cousin was at SFA when their shooting happened. she said that they were driving out of the parking lot when aops stopped all outgoing traffic and helicopters and ambulances poured into the lot. they were sitting there with the windows up, freaking out, for three hours. i'm sure all this doesn't give six flags any better rep.

when i went for goliath on opening weekend, the same thing happened except without the shooting. i was in line and there were these two HUGE groups of kids bitching eachother out and then they started fighting, a few cops showed up before anything happened though.
