That final raven turn is going to own people. One thing that came to my attention the last time I rode X is that the ruffness of the ride comes from the size of the elements. So thats why the first half of the ride is generally pretty smooth, and the second half (especially that last raven turn) is ruff... simply because the cars are probably a little to big to smoothly take the element.

Well, I guess that just shoots down a record breaking looper at CP.

If it is true of course.

It doesent have 14 inversions... Either thats a lie or a mistake or something. If you see the animation the max number of times it inverts is 7 or 8. Once on the drop, once on the first raven, Im going to say twice on the full full, even though its really once, then I'll say it does it on the overbank, but we dont raelly know, then it does a half half for one more inversion, then the raven is another, then it does a little flip forward and back thing for one last inversion. Unless this thing is just flipping and flipping while on the lift or something, That is a lie.

they counted for every inversion plus the number of times they flip you. and when they flip you, an inversion is considered 180????????? of flippage, so a full rotation would count as two.

You cant count the actual track PLUS the rotation. If the track goes upside down but you never do - NOT an inversion.

What morons. Looks like they conned them into that record (Fuji conning Guiness).

If you look at the Full Full you NEVER go inverted. You spin what looks to be laterally. But you never go head over heels.

If you use the same rules as they are using for this coaster, then how many inversions does X have?

What a cheap way to get the record for most inversions. As far as I'm concerned, an inversion is only "valid" if it turns the riders AND track upside down. What happened to the good old days when shitty coaster styles such as this didn't exist and the directions the riders/train took relied on the actual track shaping?

so if the riders were upside down the entire track, yet the actual ride didn't go upside down, you wouldn`t consider it an inversion...[dorkhat]

It wouldn't be because you never changed position to go upside down.

That full-full looks like a very disorienting element!

Ever read the signs for the Vekoma Flyers? They all said they invert you 8 times, but they counted each time it went from lay to fly and vice versa. Seems like the same bull poop to me. Thank you Guiness for sturring up a controversy among coaster geeks.

Includes complete POV. ANyways looks like a pretty fun ride, except Fuji-Q scammed Gueness into making them think they had a record for most number inversions. If Cedar Point is in fact building a record breaking looper, I really hope they call Fuji Q on it so they can get the title they rightfully would deserve.
