Well, I'm fine about paying for it, they said it wasn't going to cost much, heck if NL was $70 I would pay for it, it's that great of a game. But, has anyone even thought for a second with all this extra detail, our FPS might start dropping like flies?

How can you all put someone down if they don't think something is worth a certain amount of money, or don't wish to pay for it? Is their opinion wrong enough that you go out of your way to call them a snob or say they're wrong? It's their decision whether or not to buy the update, and they certainly aren't wrong for posting their opinion on here, just as those have who will buy the update.

It might have something to do with the way he posted, he stated that he clearly wasn't going to pay for an UPDATE, basically if Ole had charged a small amout for each update then people wouldn't expect them to be free.
Do we want Ole to keep developing NL (obvious answer is yes), lets not call this and update lets call it an expansion pack, to Atari charge for RCT3 expansion packs?. Answers on a post card please.

I cant belive how much we're getting in this. Everything is going to be the shizit when its released. Speaking of which, when will I be able to get my hands on those new B&M-ers? and the spinners...and the FLYERS...ohhh ::runs in closet[;)][;)]

Wow, never had the urge to "wax the old surfboard" over a coaster sim.[lol]

Seems someone needs to get out a bit more.

You mean you were joking?[dunno] I was just about to turn you in to spankers anonymous.[lol]

If you make a joke, and someone responds with a humerous (at least intended) reply, is it no longer a joke?[dunno]

What's the record for the longest quote repsonse? We may be getting close.

I already bought the game 3 times because I was too stupid to e-mail one of the nolimits guys, and I really don't feel like giving them any more of my money. I think it should be free like all the other ones, I don't see why this one's different.

Dont buy it then, if every software developer made a piece of software then gave every update for free they would stop developing it!. Basically Ole and the team have to live, the process is time consuming why shouldn't he reap some rewards for his efforts.

Its worth it... I mean, he said we'd get a discount or somthing, right? so that makes my think like 10-15$... i mean OMg your life is such a black abyss, you have to pay like 10 or 15$ for an awesome expansion to an already fun and awesome game... seriously... what the hell was ole thinking when he decided that his hours of work were worth somthing... [/sarc]

some people are being quite unappreaciative (sp) imho...

NO, ACN has the record. They had about 100 posts all quoting the quote above it.[lol]

It will be... but they might experience slight differences, thus making their rates slightly inaccurate... Also, if ole adds any new brake/lift/transport features, the 1.5ers are pretty much screwed lol...

I do not want to touch the physics. I see that it is not perfect and I know about its problems very well but changing it would cause a lot of existing coasters to not work properly anymore. Now it is a bit late for 1.x to change something fundamental as the physics.

So everything should still work fine.

Parents think they will end up like the Citibank commercials?

Sorry, but they need to get with it. Ive used it countless times, never once had an issue. Ger over the fear.

Plus they have those services that gives you a temporary Credit card number that goes to your real card, but only lasts for x amount of time. So just use it once and a few moments later its totally useless for anyone who might wanna use it. Credit Card over the web has gotten pretty safe.

^[lol]

The update looks wicked awesome, and I have no problem paying a small fee for a piece of software that is worth well over $100, IMO.

$100 is stretchin it a bit [;)] I wouldn't mind paying the price for this for a normal game.
