5-15$ is not worth stealing man. You want the update, go mow someones lawn, give the money to your parent, and they'll buy the game with their credit card.

uhhhh, Right. You sound like a selfish little bitch. Do you know how much work they are doing just for you to enjoy the game. I think its about time they started charging for updates, they have been way to generous. It wont be more than 15 bucks... Chill out

Like I said earlier, I really don't mind paying for this. I almost feel guilty for buying such a great program for so cheap. I completely understand them wanting to make a just small profit from this update, they deserve it.

geeeezzz.... really, i'm going to check it out and see first.. and if it doesn't have anything i'll ever find a use for, or want, then i'm not gonna get it. if it has an option of more veiwing angles and rotating track by degrees, for example.. that's something i'd use, and would buy it, but most of the update deals with coaster types that i don't build, so i really wouldn't use it.. at twice the price it's worth it to someone who does. man....

I hardly use the game anymore, so I'm rather neutral on the matter. I'll end up buying it however, I'd rather pay for the game then to download a free version. $20 isn't much to me and even though I always moan and groan about No Limits and what they could do to make it better etc, the guys still works thier asses off for everyone so they deserve it.

I'm also waiting for SM2 on a further note [lol]

Like the ability to rotate the top/side views in the editor... yea, that's be nice... It would def. make non-square tracks a lot easer lol... stats would be cool too...

oh, MAN, being able to rotate the side views in the editor would help SOOOO much. It would also lead to better tracks IMHO. Right now, I tend to keep everything at right angles because it's easier to see.

Another thing I'd like to be able to do in the editor is click on a segment or vertex and see statistics like the train's speed and G-forces at that point in the layout.

Of course, being able to select a few consecutive segments and then click "smooth" would be VERY helpful!

Ohhh yea, i forgot about stats! I remember i wanted them awhile ago. And different views in the editor would be awesome too. I dont think they're going to be in this update, but maybe in nl 2...hopefully

Honestly, what you want is the ability to rotate the map. NL has a 3d grid with cubed points of reference defined by user-input distances. When viewing in 2d, like any of the side views, only those 4 90-degree based allow for optimal viewing within that grid. HOWEVER, if you had the ability to rotate the map and all within it(track, supports, objects, terrain) it would still allow for the optimal squared spacing between the grid reference points, and would allow you to edit "angled" segments of track along a square reference plane.

yeah, what you said. the whole thing would have to move. being able to change the angle of the side, front and back veiws.

Well, from what I said it'd be more like chaning the orientation of the track to within the views, but same idea I guess.
